just wished i could experience their breakfast! The first time we stayed unfortunately their kitchen caught on fire and this second time really wanted to eat a good breakfast but due to circumstances i totally understand!
Stayed during the snow and cold temperatures of mid February 21. There were power and transportation issues that caused the staff to be short handed and many local restaurants to be shut down. Under those difficult circumstances, the Hilton staff was tremendous. They went above and beyond and were very accommodating. Thank you to the GM and the staff who stayed at the hotel and provided great service.
Extremely disappointed! Stayed here for a good night of sleep before a big competition. Received a room by the elevators that made noise all night long! Called the front desk and was told they could not move us. Dealt with the situation. Next morning, went for the breakfast that they told us about at check-in. Only to find absolutely no breakfast! So frustrating! Told the front desk and they didn’t seem to care.
During the crazy Texas winter storm/freeze in 2021 I was displaced from my home due to lack of running water. There were many Texans during this time who were displaced. The Hilton took us into their hotel like family. They didn’t take advantage of the high demand, but rather provided a safe refuge for us. The concierge even learned my name! It was a stressful week and I was thankful to have a warm place of shelter from the storm. Thank you, Hilton Dallas/Park Cities. You’re one of the good ones.
This hotel held our event for the 16th straight year ... and this was the most challenging year! Covid and snow made things almost impossible. The power was out for much of the city, including every other building on the block, and the Hilton had power and heat. The food vendors wouldn't deliver food, so General Manager Jeffrey used his minivan to go to Costco to buy food. One night we were not so happy about eating a ham sandwich for dinner, but every restaurant in the area was closed--so we were thankful that Jeffrey had provided food for us. And the next morning, our event had planned for a bacon and egg breakfast, and we had a wonderful hot breakfast, followed by a great and hot lunch. In the midst of amazing challenges, the hotel really came through. For the locals who lost power, they allowed people to stay with their dogs their rooms (we've never seen a dog in the hotel before). It really was a generous gift to the community to do that. I learned that 10 staff, including Jeffrey, had been sleeping at the hotel all week, just to keep things going. They had great spirits, tried to be as cheerful as possible, and encouraged us all. In the worst Texas storm in decades, Jeffrey and his staff made our event happen and served the local community. Amazing!!!…
