This place is horrible. Doesn’t look like the pictures. The room had a musk oder and was very dingy looking . While eating my food roaches came out and baby roaches came from the crackes of the booth/dinning chair . One of the covers on the bed was dirty . In the hall way you could her a lady screaming and crying and loud noises coming from other rooms . The front desk person was horrible he wouldn’t let us view the room before we paid for it . They only reason we consider this place and stayed is because he let us check in at 11 and we drove from Houston at 5 am for the PV and Grambling game at the state fair and we were very tied . I would not recommend this place to any one .
Horrible place in an even worse part of Dallas. Spent 2 nights there and it smells so bad of mold. All of my clothes, bags, just about everything was damp after leaving the room and everything smells so bad of mold. I just hope I can get it all out. Just don’t stay here.
Inept front desk team, rooms keys would not work. Strange smell in the elevator. Strange smell (weed? and bbq goat?) in the room. Watch out for the maids, they will run you down, I guess the only usable door are the front doors. (ie trash carts, people, panhandlers all go through the same set of well worn doors. Second floor smelled like a curry kitchen, I'd say it was masala day all weekend. I have never seen so many automatic fragrance dispensers, up and down the hallways. They where everywhere, and invariably, we would get fogged by one while waiting for the elevator. Panhandlers in the parking lot, asking for gas money, holding a milk jug. Rear "security fence" tilting at about a 60 degree angle, and gate doesn't close. Bed would be better described as a flat solid surface padded with some foam, and covered with nice sheets, and something that resembled a blanket. 3 pillow were completely adequate. A/C worked very well, and it helped mask the sound of people running up and down the hall all night. In room refrigerator worked well, and someone was thoughtful enough to pack the coils full of ice. Parking lot was well illuminated, and it helped keep our room lit, as the curtains gave up years ago. TV and cable worked great.…
My husband & I stayed here in April 2015. There were some shady guests, I think they live there, & the young man @ the front desk was not helpful, but the room was nice, & the price was right, & all of the other employees were much better. We went back in September. The employees were friendly, but we were in a no smoking room that smelled of smoke. The clientele was much worse, making it feel very unsafe, & the condition of the room was very poor. It is not worth the money you save.
They may call it up graded or remodeled, but it is still Motel 6. The place smells, the rooms are bare bones, the staff is un-caring, the wifi barely works, etc. etc. The truck parking is on the shoulder of the road outside the secure area. I just got a bad feeling about this whole place. I couldn't get out of here soon enough the next morning.
