We planned an overnight at the Grand Hyatt based on previous experience. Our flight schedules had changed so much that this overnight was necessary. And, we are very happy that the hotel was included in our plans. The hotel is super convenient when flying through DFW. The public spaces are well appointed as are the rooms. And the food experiences were wonderful. The best part of our stay was the incredible staff!! Each team member we encountered was helpful, professional and caring. I highly recommend this hotel.

It’s an airport hotel, and is what expected, except that there is no way to walk to it even though it claims to be in terminal C. We had a flight from Terminal C and still had to take the shuttle, which I wanted to avoid for various reasons (hauling luggage, tired kids, COVID exposure).

The shuttle driver was courteous and informative, check in easy, and the room fine - quiet and dark, with comfortable beds. Shower was fine. We had a view of the runways and sprawl of DFW but couldn’t hear any of it.

The pool was nice and there was no one in it.

The restaurant is meh. Dinner for four cost us over $100 and we got overcooked steak, a bland Caesar salad, a sandwich that appeared prepackaged, and a decent pizza, all on paper plates. At least they precut the steak because we wouldn’t have been able to cut it with plastic knives. There is no sit-down breakfast service (at least during COVID), just a few carryout options.

This hotel never disappoints! Great venue, lobby bar and restaurant has great ambiance. Rooms are amazingly quiet for an airport hotel- you cannot hear the planes at night at all. Meeting space is excellent and all on one large level. Business center is very responsive.

Once again, our flight was late and our connection in Dallas left without us. The Airline wanted to put us on a bus to some no where place. . .no thanks. I jumped on the app and got us a room here. We walked to the terminal and up the escalator to the lobby of the Grand Hyatt.
We were greeted by two front desk agents who were just wonderful and I immediately was so happy with my decision to drop a little money to say in someplace more "grand". After a wonderful ten day vacation in Mexico, I didn't want our last night to be in some yucky motel.
We had no luggage and they hooked us up with a bag with toothpaste, tooth brushes, make up remover etc. Everything we needed.
We had a delicious dinner in the lobby restaurant and they even took our airline vouchers.
The room was gorgeous! I wish this was my master bedroom! The shades opened as we walked in and the light setting options were super cool!
After a great night sleep, we took the elevator straight to the terminal. Best $180 I've spent in a while
Thank you Grand Hyatt DFW

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in December for two nights. It's a great airport hotel. It is connected to one of the terminals and if you are flying American Airlines it is a one minute walk from the hotel to the check in ticket counter. The hotel is very nice and you rarely hear any aircraft noise. Their service is terrific. We also enjoy the hotel restaurant.

When needing to overnight in DFW, there is NO need to move beyond the Hyatt product directly at the airport. Grand Hyatt is supremely efficient to get to and wonderful property though often expensive during weekdays. The Hyatt Regency is harder to get to, though not too stressful, and frequently much more reasonable in pricing. Both offer good lounges and good food. Great service at either property is a guarantee.

This is my second time staying at the GH and I love everything about the hotel, but the service could have been better. When I booked, I was told I’ll have a room with “runway view”, but when I checked in, I was informed that a room with a runway view has an additional charge per night. Additional, I went to the front desk to request some hot water in a kettle and I was told the hotel didn’t have kettles. Instead I was given two cups of steaming hot water that near burned my hands. For a hotel of that caliber, I expect better service.

When I walked into my room and the automatic blinds opened, my mouth hit the floor. I wasn't expecting that level of design in a hotel attached to an airport. The room was thoughtfully designed with the latest in technology and convenience. Lots of outlets and areas to charge technology. There was even a touch pad next to the bed that controlled the room temp and lighting, which was so nice to not have to get out of the bed. I was also impressed that the hotel had a quiet air conditioning system that was undetectable while I was sleeping. Overall I chose this hotel because I had an early flight (6:55 a.m.) and the location to airport allowed me to sleep an extra hour before leaving for my flight.

I hope I won't let my American Airlines experience influence this Grad Hyatt review... The Grand Hyatt was a very convenient hotel nice, nothing great (for the money) but we wanted something without a shuttle as the flight day was not the best experience. This hotel helped make up for that the room was spacious and very clean. The room service was a "sterilized version" (I'm sure a COVID thing) as it was delivered in a paper grocery bag, with just a knock on the door. I really appreciated Corey, bartender, (personable and and a pleasure to talk to) he pours a great Bourbon for this weary traveler.

I travel a fair amount for work and was admittedly not excited when this meeting was scheduled for a hotel that was attached to the DFW airport. I had had poor experiences with other airport-adjacent hotels; however, this experience far exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, efficient, and anticipated my needs. The option to check in (or out) via their user-friendly app was appreciated, and eliminated wait time for my room. The rooms were spacious and well designed, with many digitized features (e.g., lighting, window shades, etc.), and the bed was very comfortable. And, importantly, I did not hear a single airplane or external noise! After our meeting concluded, it took me less than 20 minutes to get to my gate from my hotel room! I would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend this for travelers with business close to the airport.

If my memory is correct you would go to DFW Terminal A. You would need a shuttle from the Hyatt Regency DFW. The Grand Hyatt DFW is located directly in terminal D. You could take a Skylink from Terminal D to Terminal A.

We took advantage of prepaid airport parking, I think it is about half price. They offer it on the Dfw airport website.
