Our family recently stayed at Marriott Quorum as part of a youth soccer group. The hotel was preferred partner for a national soccer tournament so many families with kids where on property. Below is a quick summary of what you can expect 1. Mold in the showers 2. Cracked tiles 3. Wall paper peeling 4. DIRT at the ac vent in your room 5. Guest hotel phones that did not function 6. Searching each floor for a working ice machine 7. Rooms not made up unless you call In addition the property is smoke free however management permitted smoking to take place in non-designated smoking areas. In fact management at one point covered the non-smoking sings with tape to permit smoking. Overall the hotel feels dilapidated, dirty, and feels like you are staying in a cesspool.

I should have realized something was lacking when checking in I was told that my king-size bed I reserved I couldn't have, that I had 2 choices, a king size bed with a broken phone (which it turns out I ended up needing) or two double beds. I decided on having a working phone. Also, surprise, we are going to charge you $17/ night for parking. Wow, thanks. Once in the parking deck very few handicapped parking spaces, 2 per level. Nice long walk to door as handicapped spaces were gone. Given room on 9th floor as far from the elevator as possible. Pro- room was clean and up to date decor. Next tried to get ice. Machine never worked during the entire visit. Tried the 8th floor ice machine. Again, not working. Went to lobby. Must be a common issue as they had a bin of ice by the bar to get ice, although, 2nd morning I tried to get ice this bin was not there. Staff seemed to treat your expecting working ice machines to be an over realistic expectation on your part, the paying customer. Then went to 10th floor for on site laundry room. There is only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer, NO change machines for making change. Okay, back to lobby to get a roll of quarters (after waiting in 20 minute line with others trying to check in.). Back to 10th floor to start laundry. Five minutes later another person comes to do their laundry. They were not happy there was only 1 machine that was already occupied. They proceeded to curse at me before leaving in a huff. Fun experience, NOT! 2nd day I was gone from my room for 7 hours. Housekeeping NEVER touched my room. Okay, your room rates are higher than ever. No where does it say housekeeping services are not provided. (Have no idea if this is their policy.) I certainly saw and HEARD Housekeeping as they made a racket calling to each other starting first thing in the morning. Never have stayed somewhere where Housekeeping was so uncaring if customers were still sleeping or not. They were literally yelling long distance to each other. When I got back to my room around 6 pm I kept hearing a mid-low machinery noise about every 30 to 60 seconds that also had vibration to it. I figured it was something Housekeeping was using but by 7:30 pm it was still there. I NEVER heard it the first night so it definitely showed something was going on. I called the front desk. They said they would look into it and call me back. 8:30 pm, NO CALL, NO customer service. Called front desk again. Told I wasn't the only room complaining and she would personally look into it and move me to another room if needed. 9:30 pm, STILL NO RESPONSE. I went to the front desk personally. Again, long wait to talk to someone as they barely had enough staff to services people checking in. What did they find out about the noise, am I being moved to another room? Woman at the front desk told me...they are too busy to help me, I will not be moved to another room as they had a waiting list over 20 people for rooms and I'd just have to deal with it. WOW, JUST WOW. I was traveling alone, have to get up early the next morning for many hours of driving and wasn't feeling that well. I had already packed my stuff anticipating a change of room. So, I unpacked yet again, took a sleeping pill and wore noise reducing headphones that were not made for sleeping to get about 4 hours of sleep. Next morning I discovered someone had texted me at 11:30 pm (4 hours after my initial complaint!!!!! Wow, such a timely resonse!) to inquire if I still heard a noise. The next morning I tried for ice again. No working ice machines and no ice by the bar. Front desk person directed me to the Starbucks for ice. Starbucks woman said, "I'm not giving you any ice." Back to front desk. Alright in the most exasperated rude voice, just give me your bag and I'll have to get it. Well gee thanks. Run don't walk away from this one people. Staff will treat you like you are out of line to expect any service just for handing over your hard earned money.

We're in Dallas for a wedding, this was the suggested hotel. I've stayed hundreds of nights at Marriotts of every flavor over the years, but I've never seen anything as dumb as this. There's a large armoire in the corner of the room, it's set up to contain everything: coffee, fridge, etc. Except the one thing an armoire needs to do--have a place to hang up clothes! Sure, there's hangars at the bottom, see the pics for how well that works. My shirts are dragging. My wife had to hang her dresses off the ironing board. There wasn't enough room for my suit, so the only thing high enough was the A/C vent. Meanwhile, there a perfect spot as you come in for a mini-closet or even a few hooks. But they put in a useless shelf instead. Given an extra star for nice staff and a decent breakfast buffet (free for Titanium members).

To start I need to level set 5 star. Requirements, full service ( greet you, take luggage to desk and room, great dining options, rooms cleaned and turned down, concierge’s). This hotel is a quasi limited service facility that is well beyond its prime. It’s web site states shuttles to nearby Galleria, false. It boasts good restaurants, false Reviews talk about great service, BUT this limited service, the only thing for good service is a smile and high. No pool service, no valet, what’s to serve. Then there is the serene pool, great got sun, but directly over the wall of the pool are two Rolls Royce jet engines, throttled for take off, drowning any chance for conversation with anyone further than 6 inches away. A positive, it drowned our crappy music blaring at the front of the pool. Interestingly the only sound that could too the 747 on the other side of the fence was private jets taking off from Dallas Love, passing by on full power at 2000 feet. They have also mastered the art oh housekeeping. Rather than a morning refresh, and a turn down in the evening, rooms are cleaned at 4:30, thereby getting a two fore. The rooms have been redone, nice, but mid level, lobby lacks ability to connect devices to a power source. By the way bring your own ice, none of the in floor ice makers work. In summary, a sorry excuse for a 5 star hotel.

Dear George H- Thank you for your feedback and being our guest! As we are starting to gain business momentum again from Covid disruption we are working hard to fill more positions. Not sure on the airline comments since we are about 20 minutes from Dallas Love Field but we do have a small regional airport in Addison with private smaller jets so assuming that is what you are referring to? I apologize this disrupted your pool time. Again we appreciate all of your feedback and the team will work hard on you comments... Best- Kris Brown GM

The staff absolutely made our day! Their service was the best I’ve ever experienced at a Marriott property. We ended up being the “Guest of the Day” and you would have thought we won $10,000. The staff was that amazing! Even at check out I hugged the manager because they made us feel so welcomed. I needed that, it had been a rough couple weeks and I just wanted to smile.

Front desk officer was not helpful and rude. Terrible customer service, no, zero customer service at all. The management should reconsider giving the front desk agents some customer service training. If not, just hire new and friendlier ones.

We met Arnold, the general manager of the Addison Marriott, he was so helpful and made great suggestions about attractions and things to do in the area. He highly recommend the restaurant in the hotel, I was skeptical because it has been my experience that hotel restaurants are not this best. My friend and I were very pleasantly surprised. We had time to enjoy a beverage before our salads were served, everything was timed perfectly, the food was prepared exactly as we requested. We will be back for a stay in this hotel and we will definitely dine at the restaurant again. Thank you to Arnold and the staff for the great experience!
