This Marriott is a beautiful hotel with a great location to the market center. I have stayed there several times for business. This last stay resulted in charges erroneously placed on my personal credit card rather than the business card which was used when the reservation was made. I don’t possess the corporate card as this is handled though the company’s main office. This charge was brought to the attention of hotel staff when it happened and before I checked out. I was assured it was corrected before I left. They said My card wasn’t charged. However it was. Mistakes happen. They admitted it was their error. My issue was not so much with the error but with their lack of response. (Shout out to Bailey who did what she could to ease my concern but couldn’t fix it.) It took over a week for a refund that they knew from day one was their mistake. I just want the GM to know that the biggest mistake in good customer service is when a guest/customer doesn’t feel their concern is being heard or addressed. A simple phone call (from the appropriate personnel) with an explanation about why it takes so long to correct the error would have gone a long way. Sadly, it seems that concerns addressed on social media are addressed quicker than going through the proper internal channels. Some things are still best handled with a good old fashioned phone call. I hope my next stay at the Marriott Suites Dallas Market Center will be problem free.

So after a horrible experience with American Airlines @ DFW airport we were left stranded for 2 days in Dallas. We had to stay at another Marriott property for the 1st night, it was just OK so I needed to find some place better for night 2. Enter the Marriott Suites Dallas. From the moment I called to see if any rooms were available, to check in and our stay - my enormous stress went away. Bailey is the nicest and very professional person @ the front desk. She heard me complain about how AA handled our trip, heard my issues about the other property, and how I wanted to get home. Bailey handled it with a warm welcome and gave me the feeling "all would be just perfect" and it WAS! Our room was spacious, clean and quiet - beautifully decorated. Lobby, bar and concierge area, where we were treated to delicious evening hor d'oeurves, hot coffee, snacks and great breakfast the morning of departure. Pool area very nice with great patio furniture to relax in, while I was trying to book a flight home. Bailey even arranged for the Marriott shuttle they have to take us to Target as AA lost our luggage so we had nothing to wear. (Shuttle driver was super nice too). EVERY staff person we encounter at this Marriott was exceptional - always smiling and quick to help. After check out I received a follow up email from Bill, the General Manager thanking me for my stay. I emailed him back on my wonderful experience. This hotel and staff is the reason I am a loyal to Marriott. Highly recommend.

Recently remodeled and the rooms are nice size and well appointed, but we found the property dirty with a lot of cigarette butts and trash around the pool area and entry way. Marriott needs to establish smoking areas so people have a place to dispose of butts. They need to have property policed for trash daily. We stayed on a Saturday and never saw the bar area open. Friendly enough staff. Would we stay here again? Perhaps.

I have stayed here before. A medical conference is held at the Anatole about every 4 years. 2 blocks away. Nice smaller Marriott. All rooms are suites and they are very nice! Excellent bed, shower, couch, desk, lots of light, great TV, safe, coffeemaker, and lots of storage. Staff nice and helpful, shuttle services and very nice concierge lounge open 24 hours. My complaint? When we were trying to watch that nice TV, (the Big Bang finale) we were interrupted with sirens and emergency evacuation. No elevators, just stairs. I have a bad hip and it was 10 floors. It wasn’t a fire just some water thing so pretty exasperating. Then it happened again at 2 am. All staff were apologetic but hard to get a desperately needed nights sleep back. Next night much better. Hope this gets fixed. I do really like the hotel bar, lounge, front desk and people though.

Nice Modern design and spacious rooms. Dependable Marriott quality. Enjoyed taking coffee outside by the pool. Very relaxing place close to downtown. The people at this hotel are of course the highlight. I was greeted at the Front Desk by Mariel (Trainee) who happily checked me in. She has a bright future. The General Manager, Bill Breches, contacted me before checking in and also after I checked out, to personally confirm my comfort and needs. That's a really nice touch. Thanks Bill! Other front desk ladies who were so helpful were Bailey and Darcie. And what a great morning greeting from Donna and Melissa as I entered the Lobby for my morning coffee. Their sincere smile and cheerful attitude really did set the mood for my day. What a nice thing to be greeted so cheerfully and sincerely. And Annette in Housekeeping was so engaging with me to make sure everything was fine in my room. She truly cares about her guests. I don't recall the young man's name who helped in the Club at breakfast. A special thanks to him for sincerely asking if everything was good. Yes, everything was good. I encountered others who really seemed genuinely considerate. Very friendly and professional team members. These are the things about the hotel that really make an enjoyable business trip.
