Overall the hotel stay was good. There were a few things that could have been improved, but for the most part good. The staff was great. The room as a whole was nice but needed more character. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner and the hotel it self needs to be more visual, easily accessible.

We booked a room at The Lumen for Friday, July 1. We cancelled the reservation on Tuesday July 28 due to a death in our family. I received a cancellation confirmation that said if you cancel within 24 hours you will be refunded. We were not refunded and the reason they gave is we were given a special rate. I did not know that we were given a special rate and it should make no deference. Needless to say I believe this is a bush league hotel..

Small convenient hotel, at a good price, that has potential. Pleasant pool area. Don’t expect amenities. This may be related to Covid, but we had to order ice from room service and get plastic cups to have a drink in the room (BYOB). Coffee was handed out by the Desk in the morning. We would stay there again, hopefully when the restaurant and bar open, to see what the owners had in mind when the hotel was opened.

The lady at the front desk was so rude upon check in. You would think with covid they would try to be extra accommodating and make you feel safe and welcoming. She was rude and not helpful. This will be the last time I stay here.

I think this hotel has had a change of ownership and it must have been nice...I found it however pretty uncomfortable and cold temperature throughout building...The restaurant was closed for breakfast.I had to hunt down doorman..You can't park your own car.The hotel was going through renovation..I found the help uncaring and uncommunicative...I would never stay here again....No service!
