After our reservation with another motel got mixed up we were scrambling to find a decent cheap place to rest after we got into Texas. The desk clerk swooped in saved the day and gave us a discount. I am forever grateful! They do provide complementary ear plugs because the location is close to a railroad. The breakfast was very...

This property is being redone so don't let the exterior fool you. The room was wonderful. Clean, freshly painted and redone. Very comfortable beds. We were a little worried when we first pulled in but could not have been surprised. It is not management fault there is a loud train that goes through town. You would hear it from any...

It's not the BW's fault that there's a breeze of manure in the air. We could hear everything upstairs and next door and outside. The trains that blew through were startling. The water pressure and towels were nice. The one saving grace was the breakfast. It was hot and fresh, surprisingly. We were traveling late and at the mercy of...

We were looking for a place to spend a night during a long road trip, and thought we could rely on the Best Western franchise. The entire complex is under some sort of construction - hopefully an upgrade - but stairwells are blocked so an upstairs room is challenging. More interesting was being offered earplugs after we checked in because...

The hotel was great. The rooms were nice, and very clean. The staff was very helpful, and accommodating. There is a train that passes right by the hotel, but both me and my fiancé are used to train noise, so it didn't even wake us up. I had booked a king room. When I checked in, I asked if there...

The was a lot of construction going on the road to get to the motel causing it to be very confusing to find the entrance. We had to drive around the block several times to find it. Also the construction at the motel itsself made parking very difficult and appeared un safe. Also since the train is very close and...

If you think that trains could bother you then don't stay in DALHART. It is not this hotels fault that the trains honk. Be upset at the train people not the hotel. They have ear plugs that they have for free and signs telling you about the train too. I must say I never noticed the signs until this last...

Construction on the stairwell did not give room to walk the steps and carry luggage. Very unsafe for children. Not marked as a caution area. Not notified or mentioned at check in. We asked about how often the train went through and the check in said, "we are not given that information."

The room was just as in the picture. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was less than terrific, ran out of all hot foods. Person doing the breakfast was also running the desk. Should be 2 separate people if u want happy guests. Good for the price and hotel was packed. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is an older motel in a town with major road construction and many trains. If train noises bother you they provide ear plugs. The ice machine was kaput, so they provided ice if you requested it at the desk.
