This RV park near The Woodlands TX, is quiet city living! Woodland Lakes RV Park is just two miles from restaurants, shopping, I-45, St. Luke’s Woodlands and Memorial Hermann Hospitals. Yet campers wake to the sound of chirping birds, Black-bellied Whistling Ducks, fishing ponds and just an extraordinarily quiet park. Woodland Lakes RV Park is privileged to have guests from all over the country for various reasons such as Exxon pipeline workers, construction workers, traveling nurses, and those taking advantage of Houston’s many medical facilities, including the Texas Medical Center – the worlds largest. Concert goers stay the weekend to enjoy entertainment at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, and many RVers stop by on their way to a final destination. The RV Park has 89 FHU sites, 50 amp and 30 amp service, comfortable amenities such as free TV cable at each site, public bathrooms and showers, a clubhouse with free Wi-Fi, onsite propane and a laundry facility.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in June 2019. We explained when we made the reservation that we would be driving our brand new Class C off the dealer's lot that day and asked that we have a spot devoid of overhanging tree branches. We arrived at the RV park after closing (unfortunately they close the office extremely early) only to find that our space had been reassigned. You guessed it, a spot with low hanging branches was exactly where we ended up. We could not back our shiny new rig all the way in without scratching it and potentially damaging the satellite dish, etc.. Our "nose" had to stick out into the drive a bit. The next day, the office staff was able to move us to another spot that fit our request. When we disconnected from the water faucet, the pipe blew out and created a gusher. The maintenance guy came by (with a put-out look on his face) to cut the water off. We are not new at this and we did not break the pipe ourselves! Both sites had a bit of debris from previous campers strewn about. I found some kind of metal tool laying in the second spot. Luckily I saw it in time to move it out of the way of the RV tires. Otherwise, we risked puncturing them. You would expect the staff to clean and inspect each site between visitors. The grass looked like it had not been cut in two weeks. It looked like a hideout for snakes. The puny little "ponds" were pathetic. I would guess that most of the RV spaces were occupied by long-term occupants. The road leading into the place was full of potholes and was not easy to spot initially. Overall, I would say the place has some potential but is dire need of TLC.

Rather difficult to fine and was kept up most of the night with neighborhood behind the park being noisy. Priced reasonable. Gravel bumpy road, personel were very friendly and as helpful as possible. Were put in the back of the park, may be the reason it was undeveloped

Great park located outside The Woodlands. Comfortable for our 45 foot 5th wheel. Our site provided a great view of the lake with seating and a patio. Free Wi-Fi and Cable included in the site. 2 laundry facilities and propane on site!

This is an older park that does show its age in some areas but has been well maintained for the most part. The roads are paved and in overall good shape; however, they are a bit narrow and the sites are short for some rigs which causes people to partial park in the road. The road getting to the park is a little rough due to construction of a new apartment complex across the road. The entrance and exit could be tight for some big rigs. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My site was level front to back and side to side, had a paver patio, and a picnic table. The cable was good with adequate channels and the wifi was actually decent for once. The dog park was well maintained as was most of the grounds. There were 2 ponds with ducks to keep you entertained. The park does have a lot of full time residents with all their campsites being nice neat without any junk RVs cars etc. There were a fair number of snowbirds too. For the most part, the park was quiet and well manicured. The weakness of this park include the hook-ups being spaced oddly with electricity and sewer at the front of the pad while water and cable were at the rear of the pad. Sites are close together and short for many big rigs. There is some mud around the hookups due to lack of grass. Some of the pavers at the site were broken. Some of the neighbors had loud trucks that they liked to drive in and out of the park at night (like midnight and 1 am). Not a bad park to stay at overnight or for a few days. I stayed for 4 days while at a conference and was overall pleased with my stay. I would stay again if in town for business, but not what I would use for a vacation stay. We camped at Woodland Lakes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Convenient location north of Houston for overnight or short stay. Significant long term residential RVs evident with all the accumulated paraphernalia. Many rise early in the morning, so lots of early morning traffic noise. Should consider seperation of 'residents' and short term RVs. Mostly gravel sites, with some common landscaped areas. We were there during heavy rain and drainage was slow from around our site. Noisy traffic location. Clean facilities, but not private.
