If you’ve ever wanted to feel what it’s like to be an Aggie and come ‘home’, this is the hotel experience for you. There’s a large walk in shower and large bathroom, there’s some kind of Aggie magic that keeps the mirror from fogging up, the shower handle has ‘Gig ‘Em Aggies’ engraved on it for an touch of nostalgia. There’s a large closet for a hotel with plenty of drawers for unpacking. A mini fridge is included. We were originally in a room as far away from the tracks as possible, requested a room closer and were granted a room with front and center views of the tracks and passing trains (our boy is obsessed with trains). If loud train horns are not your thing, they provide ear plugs to dampen the sound. The pillows were fantastic, as was the bedding, very soft and crisp. Only drawback, you will have to reset the AC every 3-4 hours if you like a cool sleep. The front desk staff were pleasant and friendly, and fantastic accommodating our needs. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Hands down, this hotel boasts the friendliest and most helpful staff of any place I’ve stayed in the past 5 years. Super clean. Great COVID-19 practices. Nice rooms, good bar and terrific location. Definitely coming back.

In the heart of the A & M campus. Once you park you can get everywhere on campus. Clean and spacious hotel room. Parking garage attached by skywalk to the hotel, so park on the third floor of the parking garage and walk right over to the hotel (entering on the second floor. Great amenities too, fitness center, restaurant and bar. Everyone is very friendly, stop in and say Howdy!!

Wonderful staff. Great restaurants and pool. One huge downside. The hotel is next to the train track. Every time a train goes by Kyle Field the horn blows LOUD. Woke me up at least 5x in the night. They offer ear plugs but that doesn’t really cut it. Maybe requesting a room on the other side would help.

We are actually staying here now and maybe my standards are too high for college station but the sentiment is the same with everyone I have spoken to so far. I have used trip-advisor for over a decade and never left a review until now. I can usually speak to the hotel directly and sort out any issues or compliment them but not at this hotel. I am sure these reviews go nowhere but at least you are warned. Check-in......No valet at all. Parking isn't exactly close either so maybe dont bring bags? Front desk was super slow but a good attitude. Oh and do not ever try to call the hotel or call the front desk, their phones are essentially non existent and they NEVER answer. Room was nice and clean but smelled like a wet dog. ( also the in room coffee was disgusting) Coffee Shop/ Restaurant - Coffee shop had no food when we went down, only cereal bars....the espresso was literally undrinkable and even with the poorly trained barista adding burnt milk and syrup it was still really really bad and the service was the same. Tried to order food at the restaurant to-go......let me just stop here and say this is not a hotel you want to stay at if you care about service or food and drinks. ( in fairness I had not had any cocktails etc yet so I cant say about that part) Its got a good location and the rate was inexpensive but dont expect any experience or quality. I was expecting more JW Marriott style hotel but in reality its just a really big Hilton Garden Inn.
