We were on our way from Houston to Colorado Springs and Childress was the halfway point, so we thought in planning the trip we would stay there and because they accepted pets. Upon arrival, we could see the Hotel was being renovated and the room we were given was a couple hundred

I would apologize for the puncture you had on your tire during your recent stay in our facility. Just because we are under going a renovation all the blame does not fall on us. We do sweep and clean are parking area every day and the renovation does not involve removing of screws or nails. We are changing the carpets and the bed coordinates ( bed linen) in all the rooms. I am really sorry for the incident. Thanks a lot for noticing the renovation and recognizing the clean room that we had to offer. We are not a bad hotel and next time you are in Childress give us a chance to serve you once again. We will give you a room on the back side of the hotel and you will be far away from the noise. If you had brought that to our notice we would have been more than happy to change your room. Thanks for your feedback. Visit us again.

I travel a lot and I stay at a lot of hotel/motels. This Red Roof Inn goes beyond what is expected of a motel in this price range. The owner is certainly stepping forward in providing extras. The Red Roof offers a hot breakfast, cookies in the lobby, soap and shampoo dispenser

Friendly Staff. Hotel has been recently updated. Bath area has new floor tile and new tile around the bath tub. Very nice area to walk the dogs behind the motel. Great place if you are pass through Childress and just need to spend the night.
