It is beautiful and quite. Many activities. I was only there for one night. I plan to visit again with the family during the spring with the family for a longer stay. I would like to enjoy all the outdoor activities.

Paid top dollar for an average experience. -Paid a resort fee with limited resort features available -Hot tub was falling part -Lobby coffee costs $4.00 and its tasted bad and came in a paper cup that was thin -Place was 75% empty and they never offered to upgrade my room for free despite paying over $400 a room

Googled “couples retreat” and this popped up. They claim to be a resort but they are absolutely NOT a resort. It looks great online but what they don’t tell you is the beds are rock hard, there is NO ROOM SERVICE, the parking lot is pretty far from the rooms, and everything is VERY overpriced. Food options are pricey and average. I paid $20 for a Texas shaped waffle that they serve at my local days inn. I paid $425 for two massages and we couldn’t be in the same room with each other or enjoy the hot tubs together everything is separate in the spa so it kind of ruined my idea of a couples retreat. I spent both night tossing and turning because the beds are so uncomfortable, spent countless hours searching for good food that wasn’t an arm and a leg, then trekking the 3+ miles to get out to the main road to go get it and bring it Back. OH YEAAAAA, They charge you $18 PER NIGHT to park in the parking lot of a gated hotel. Ridiculous. Honestly I was disappointed in this hotel and I’m out about $1600 for the weekend. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and we won’t be back.

The entire staff was the friendliest staff I have encountered. My room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the courtyard. I loved the grounds, including having access to the Lower Colorado River Authority hiking trails, as well as a highly rated golf course on property. There are a lot of activities for the entire family, including many nooks to sit and read a good book.

My family decided to go to Lost Pines for New Year's Eve weekend for a quick getaway with another family. We had a really good time. The food was awesome and the facilities were top notch. It was warm enough to lay out by the pool and the kids were able to enjoy the lazy river. We will definitely go back.
