My husband and I spent our 1 yr anniversary wkd here and it was a perfect choice! We stayed 2 nights in February and we loved this place. This B&B is perfectly romantic, very accommodating, and just such a sweet place to getaway. The bed was comfy, there is a kitchen upstairs for the guests, the toiletries are wonderful and...

We were looking for bed and breakfast accommodation for a trip to Austin but outwith the hustle and bustle of the city itself. At only a 25 minute drive to downton Austin, the Blue Heron fitted our criteria perfectly. The house itself is charming, entering into the huge downstairs lounge/formal dining room area. The visitors den upstairs is a lovely...

This is a small 4 gues B&B that feels just like home. The atmosphere is very comfortable with an open area for relaxing, reading or watching TV. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast choices are all delicious. Your biggest problem will be deciding what to select and everything tastes great. There is also a small workout room to help...

You won't want to miss staying at least one night in this home built in the grand antebellum style of New Orleans. Towering white pillars, two and a half story arched windows, and lovely landscaping frame the welcoming entrance to this charming B&B located only 8 miles from the old downtown of Bastrop and twenty minutes from Austin proper. Madame...

We needed a place to stay for a half marathon held at the Hyatt Lost Pines. The Hyatt was booked and expensive. I called a half dozen places nearby looking for a room. Only the Blue Heron called me back- so glad they did. Perfect accomodations, with a great room and a comfortable bed. Additionally, there is a large common...

Came in to the Austin area spontaneously, booked reservations a few days in advance. It was the weekend of SXSW but the price was very reasonable and with only approximately a 30 minute drive to downtown Austin it was great! I would highly recommend this place. Also they have warm pecan maple syrup, awesome!

The home is stunningly beautiful and the guest area upstairs was a wonderful place to sit back with a cup of tea and read one of the many books made available to guests. We had a very restful stay in a gorgeous and well-appointed room. We loved that the breakfast menu had a...

This was our fourth year here and we had a wonderful and very productive meeting. The accommodations allowed us to be able to get a lot done. We had the upstairs and downstairs to ourselves. Meals were catered by the owner so we did not have to waste time going out. Rooms were very comfortable and all and all it...
