The Oaks: First and foremost I highly recommend this place. Jamie and Larry the owners of this RV Park are awesome hosts. I call Larry the hardest working man in Texas he is always doing something around the property. The sites are a good size and well maintained, the bath house has 4 individual private bathrooms with a shower. I didn’t use them everyday but the times I did use them they were immaculately clean. They also have a large pavilion with picnic tables, rocking chairs and grills. They have a laundromat with three washers and three dryers that worked well and were fairly priced. They hardpacked resurfaced the road on the front part of the property while we were staying there. You can pay for your site online if you want and it’s very simple and convenient. They also will text message you when you receive mail and packages. All this and you get to enjoy some nature, the property sits back a good ways off TX HWY 71 and you don’t get any road noise. I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Jamie and Larry for doing it right.…

We moved to Austin in an RV and needed a place to call home for a while. We stayed at the Oaks for about 2 months and the owners are fantastic people. They helped us keep a spot through a very busy weekend when we decided to extend our stay on short notice. They are constantly present keeping the grounds well maintained and the bathroom/ shower facilities clean. Would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a short or long term stay.

I was a long-term tenant, from July 23, 2016, until March 31, 2018, and really enjoyed living here. I had long-term neighbors on one side of me, neighbors on my other side would come and go, and everyone was friendly. Jami and Larry, who live on-site, are wonderful owners! Being able to pay online and the text messages (for mail at the office or park alerts) were truly convenient. The park is set-back from Hwy 71, which give the tenants some privacy, quiet, clean, and well maintained. I highly recommend The Oaks RV Park!

This was our second visit to The Oaks. As others have stated, Jamie and Larry have been working hard to improve the park with new sites, new toilet/shower house, new covered pavilion for group functions, and upgraded laundry room. We have been in sites 29 and 31 pull-thrus that are concrete and very level. No leveling pads needed and we don't have 6 point so that is nice to not have to block up one or the other side to level. Electric pedestal, water, and sewer drop placed well in site. One minus is the permanents drive TOO fast through the park in my opinion, but that can be addressed by the owners. Summing up we will stay again when we are in this area

Jamie and Larry are great. They have continued to improve the park year after year. Easy entrance, good restrooms, close to fuel. Easy drive to the wineries in the hill country. Close to restaurants in Bastrop.

Very nice park. Jami was very helpful and it is convenient to COTA by backroads. Very clean park. We would stay here again. We did not use any of the bathroom facilities. Everyone I encountered in the park was very friendly and helpful.

Jami & Larry have created a wonderful oasis between Austin and Bastrop that we have enjoyed for 4 years in a row now. The property is private and quiet, and the facilities are great - especially the private bathrooms with showers.

Stayed at the park for the F1 race. It was full, but the owners made room for us...something they did not have to do! Despite the rain, we had an excellent time and highly recommend The Oaks to anyone needing a home away from home...no matter how long their stay!

We stayed in our fifth wheel in mid June 2015. The place is very clean and well run. We will stay there any time we are in the Charleston. SC area. The back in sites were shady and the park is covered in mature live oak trees.the staff were helpful and the laundry room was spotless.

Stayed here for 4 nights for the inaugural US F1 Grand Prix and the welcome and hospitality shown by the staff was second to nine! Throughout my booking process, Jami (owner) kept us well informed of all that was being planned for the race fans and a welcoming campfire on the first night allowed us to meet the other F1 fans who had chosen The Oaks for their base. A huge thanks to Jami, Larry and all the other staff for making our first RV holiday a pleasant experience :-)
