Located 15 miles from Gruene and New Braunfels on a hillside above Canyon Lake. Two of our rooms offer private hot tubs. All rooms have a comfortable king-sized bed, private bathroom, electric fireplace, mini-fridge and a balcony with rocking chairs. Besides our complimentary full breakfasts, guest enjoy watching the wildlife and feeding our white tail deer. We are 1 hour from downtown Austin, San Antonio and Fredericksburg- prefect for day tripping!

Had the entire home for family from out of town here for a wedding. We were very well taken care of and Darrin, the hostess, was friendly and helpful on planning a few day trips over the weekend when we were there. Great rooms and we were very spoiled during our stay.

Equinox Inn is definitely a 5Star experience-great rooms and wonderful hosts with a fabulous breakfast! I also loved how well the house and the grounds were decorated-not to mention the seasonal decorations inside the house. Wonderful visit!

This was my first experience staying at a B&B and I had an absolutely wonderful time. I loved the quiet, the closeness of nature and location (even with the hot Texas heat outside). Darrin and Keith were great hosts and I felt right at home. What else can I say--I'll be sure to come back soon.

As a solo traveler, I gave Equinox Inn 5 stars for the wonderful service provided by Darrin and Keith. Their BnB has a variety of different rooms to choose to fit your style. The breakfast was great and there plenty of coffee. Great place to relax or use as a central location close to Canyon Lake, San Antonio or just be in the hill country.

Yet again, another fabulous stay at this beautiful Inn! Darrin and Keith are so welcoming and accommodating! The deer were wonderful to watch from the hot tub! Very relaxing! And the sheets are so soft!!! I can’t say enough about this place! My mother thoroughly enjoyed her stay and she’s a tough critic!

This is our inn of choice and has been since the first time we stayed. We have watched this business grow into a destination. We have stayed there fourteen times for over 30 nights. It has always been very clean, comfortable and warm. Darrin and Keith have continually worked at making it better and inviting. We stay three to four times a year when we really need someplace to relax. This it it!

Great place to stay, either as a get away, or, in my case, a short business trip. Keith and Darrin are fantastic hosts. They really try to accommodate their guests. Breakfasts were great. Feeding the deer that drop by the backyard was a lot of fun. Very rustic setting, yet not that far from San Antonio. If you are into lake watersports/fishing or tubing down the river, this is a perfect spot. Rooms are really large and clean. Bed was very comfy. Rooms has balconies so you can kick back in private if you wish.

Met Gail, my BFF of 62 years here for wonderful stay. We had the Lone Star Mini Suite on first floor. Perfect as we both have knee/back issues. Loved the Walkin Shower, grab bars, etc. Also, nice size refrigerator in our room and comfortable king size bed and fireplace. Breakfasts were awesome and beautifully presented. Patio with hot tub and table/chairs to watch the wildlife. Deer so tame you could get within 10 ft. of them. Never in my life saw and heard so many birds. Cardinals, bluejays, doves, et. Table and chairs in the room by one of the two windows allowed us to play games and order in food if we did not want to go out. Lots of places nearby; Italian Restaurant, McDonalds, Dairy Queen, BBQ, Coffee/Bakery, etc. Keith helped us load and unload our luggage. Darrin asked us one day if we had made plans for lunch because we did not want to go out. She brought us a lovely, cheese, cracker and fruit plate. We will be back.…

Had an absolutely fantastic stay! The location was perfect, and our room was cozy and well-appointed, with an amazing view of the lake. Darrin and Keith were consummate hosts and made us feel very welcome. So many wonderful details to note, from the thoughtful snacks and beverages to the expert recommendations and calming decor. Breakfast was first class, setting us up for a day of exploring! All in all, a perfect weekend retreat from the hustle and bustle of Austin. Just what the doctor ordered!
