Very clean, comfortable and affordable. The owner was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. I was running at 10k at the caverns on Sunday and I’m pretty sure it’s the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel for the 2 nights before the race. We grilled on Friday night and ate breakfast in the room so that helped with saving money too. We enjoyed how close the lake was and my husband frequently went fishing. Highly recommend. Even the toilet paper was nice

My wife & I stayed at Holiday Lodge for 3 nights mid week in March. We were immediately impressed when we opened the door to our room. The room was put together & decorated so nicely, the interior decorating was perfect right down to the tiled walls in the bathroom & kitchenette. The room was immaculate, super clean. The sitting area on the deck was perfect for morning or afternoon relaxation. The wander deer underneath was an added bonus. Mark, the host, was very attentive and very considerate during our stay. We would highly recommend staying at Mark’s Holiday Lodge.

Love the location (next to the lake) and within driving distance to the river. It is small and family-owned with owners on site to help with all your needs, whether it be directions, recommendations, story-telling or history lessons; it was great to get to know them. The rooms are perfect size, w/ comfy beds and includes a kitchenette with outside BBQ pits to make your own meals. Cost saver! Lots of outdoor seating to admire the scenery. Even with it being Memorial Day weekend, it was serene, relaxing and lots of fun! Parking w/ a boat was no problem and owners ensure lot is for their customers only so we didn't run into any parking issues, which is a problem in that area. I recommend this place for family, couples, business or friends; it suits everybody!
