Excellent place to stay in hill country, TX. Roomy, level RV sites. Bathrooms/showers were super clean. I liked the courtesy bath mats. Rock ring firepit, grill, and picnic table on each site. Goofys bar and grill located next door was a nice bonus.

From reservations to check in to check out, this place definitely will be my to go place when looking for a glamping experience in Texas. The staff was very helpful and patient every time I called before arrival. The price is reasonable. Located in Canyon lake, just outside of San Antonio and Austin, this camping venue is a true hidden gem. Caters to all kind of campers and even “those who thought they can never be campers ( like us).” Our family stayed at a dog friendly cabin and a tepee. The cabin is clean, basic - has all the essentials. Teepee is really nice, cozy and picture perfect! Do not be discouraged by the lack of bathroom. The nearby common bathroom is clean ( Chlorox clean). There is a fireplace inside the teepee to keep one warm. The grills outside are ready to be used. The campground has many outdoor games- bocce balls, beanbag toss, playground etc. There is a nearby manmade waterfalls, a short trail. There are many nice restaurants nearby- our favorite was Granny Ds. I am definitely coming back the next time I’m in the area.,

Pulling into the resort in a 45' Motorhome was definitely tight! You have to pull all the way to the back of the resort for check-in and the roads are narrow with many trees. The resort was packed!!!! Check in was prompt and they have an escort that takes you to your lot. Lots of turns through cottages and RV's. Our lot was nice and wide but parking is kind of a problem. Our coach took up the entire lot and so we had to park out towards the street and not touch so called grass or we were told we could park over by the dumpster. We were disappointed that the resort doesn't offer cable. When I went to the office to ask about it I was told I could pay extra to be able to stream. It wasn't that much but seriously if your not gonna offer cable at least offer streaming with no charge. I paid for the streaming and the reception was horrible. We weren't able to get the tv's inside the coach to work. The one outside worked partially. We were looking forward to our stay here after looking at the pictures online but I would have to say it was average.

We stayed in a standard dog friendly cabin #9 (Pflugerville). The room was nice and having an AC was amazing. We enjoyed several amenities such as the hiking trails, cornhole, connect 4, swimming pool, ping pong, and dog park. The staff was super friendly.

We came here for business with some time for fun and totally loved the Tipi tents. We had G1-3 where G2 is the one with the kingsized bed. We also got a golf cart which our 5 year old totally loved… Mystic Quarry is magic - beautifully kept and perfect luxury outdoors… AC in your tent as well as TV - the shower is separate but great as is the propan firepits… The pool and play areas are great - driving around with the golf cart awesome and the WiFi surprisingly good for a remote place like that… They have brandnew safari luxury tents with private bathrooms which would also love to try and their shirts / merchandise is awesome ;-). We will be back for sure

Our family visited Mystic Quarry for Halloween weekend! We were looking for a safe way to enjoy the festivities during the pandemic and thought it would be a great idea to spend some time in the outdoors. This was the perfect place for us! The facility is beautiful, extremely well kept, with plenty of amenities. We enjoyed everything the property had to offer, from the trails, the sky deck/fire pits, visiting the Quarry and just relaxing in the Texas hill country. The staff was beyond amazing! Very attentive, friendly and helpful. The Tiny houses were perfect for our family of 5! The houses felt clean and the decor was cute. It was a perfect balance of indoors (for our teenager) and outdoors for the family to relax. The property felt safe and secure. We felt comfortable letting our kids run around and have fun on the grounds. They especially enjoyed the front office/snack shop. We loved the live music on Saturday nights.. The lively band was very entertaining, we had a great time singing along and dancing. One of our favorite parts of the weekend was the outdoor Haunted Trail. In order to follow covid-protocol, the staff out together an amazing treat for their guest by turning part of the hiking trail into a fun and spooky activity for the family to enjoy. Overall the facility is amazing, we are already booking to go back in early summer for a tubing trip and plan to make the Halloween trip an annual event for our family and friends.

My wife found Mystic Quarry on Facebook as we were trying to decide where to go over the Christmas holiday. Our first year to not be home for Christmas. She picks the RV park/Resort and we go. This place was truly awesome from the moment we arrived all the way to our departure. They informed us of everything they had to offer, their holiday schedule, absolutely wonderful communication. They were to be closed on Christmas with no employee support, which was understandable to us. Christmas morning comes around, I am Outside cooking Breakfast on our Blackstone and along comes one of the employees offering to carry our trash that we had sitting on our rental Golf cart. I planned on taking it myself. He said he would carry t as he was just cruising around anyway. We sat and chatted for a bit and I learned a ton about the company and the area! I will definitely stay several times a year! Great people!!!

Mystic Quarry is awesome! I stayed two nights in cabin 2 (Wimberley), and it was super nice. I was there for a solo getaway, and it was a fun time. I arrived, and at checkin I asked about getting in a run after I settled in. I got great advice, and had a challenging, hilly run. Perfect! Wimberley, a premium cabin, was plenty roomy, with two beds, full bath, and complete kitchen. There was also a nice little patio, with grill and chairs for enjoying a beverage outside. It was late November, but I was surprised there was live music on Saturday night. The one-mile trail around the grounds makes for a nice, casual walk, too. There are a few lodging options here, including traditional camping. The office offers plenty of supplies for sale, including beer and wine. Staff is very helpful. And proper measures were taken for coronavirus safety.
