The new owner of the hotel is trying to fix the place up-the room was very clean-bathroom was older but spotless. Flat screen tv, microwave and mini fridge in the room. The hotel is very close to the street so there is street noise, but that wasn't too bad-Canyon Texas isn't a big city, although there was quite a bit...

Quaint and clean, friendly staff. Reasonable room rate. Close to all places of interest including restaurants and shopping. Bathroom had no vanity, in room coffee of ice bucket. Breakfast consisted of free coffee and donuts, very good.

This is the perfect place to stay if going to see the Texas Play in Canyon Park. Just take the first stoplight south of the hotel and drive east about 15 miles or so. The hotel is on the rustic side but that is good. I stayed at a national chain hotel, with initials HJ, that was not near as...

We stayed in Buffalo several times through out the summer while my husband was there working, we stayed at the Buffalo Inn 90% of our visits. We enjoyed our stays there, it's an older hotel, they were just switching owners and were starting the process of updating the place. They have breakfast, it's not much but they offer a discount...

We have been staying at the Buffalo Inn for 8 years & 2 times a year besides. We have 2 Yorkies & have always done the routine of taking them off the property to go potty. On 5-11-16 we were going to stay there along with another couple, who also have 2 little dogs. They arrived before use & were...

This motel is older but clean and friendly. If you just need a place to shower and sleep for a night; this is it (paid $62 tax inclusive for a King room). The room has a microwave, refrigerator, iron and board, hairdryer, TV and free wifi. Bed might be a bit springy for my taste but I would stay again.

Buffalo inn is a throwback hotel that reminds me of families driving in a station wagon all day. The furnishings are no frills but adequate. I would take my own pillows if you want a fluffy pillow. I really liked the vintage tile in the bath room and having a window with sun brick in the shower to let the...

This hotel is an older motel, but in a very convenient location. It was very easy to find; just a short distance from the highway. It is a good place for an overnight stay, which is what we needed. The motel was clean, the room was spacious, and we slept well. I would stay there again, for a quick overnight....

We didn't want to spend much for a quick overnight stay, so we tried the Buffalo Inn. It is just old, but was clean. Bed was fine. Bathroom floor was cold, as it was winter. If you want total comfort, go elsewhere, but for little money and just a night or two, it'll do. It is also right near the...

We were on a 2 week venture and this was the very first night, and I quote myself, "I've seen this horror movie before, it doesn't end well..." I had reserved this hotel months in advance so that we had a short drive to the Palo Duro Canyons, and if you're wondering, the hotel is about 20 minutes to the...
