We stayed here rather than camping at an acquaintance's. The owner checked us in and was very friendly, so we got some local flavor- she recommended a place to eat and let us visit some of her other property right on the river where we could bird watch. Motel furniture was a bit of a throwback to maybe the 60's...

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, clean linen and great towels, free WiFi, coffee, fridge, small TV. Well located if you are cycling the Southern Tear. All though we had to wait for the manager to arrive, the cleaning lady called the manager and put us in a room and check in was done later, easy. Plenty of hot water for a...

Stayed for two nights. Room was cleaned, beds made and fresh supply of linens after first night. Nice, clean rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water for showers, and VERY quiet. Will definitely stay again.

This is the second time I have stayed here. It is a nice part of the Hill Country. The room was clean and the checking in was easy. It was a chilly night yet there were no blankets to be found on the bed and I did not see any in the room. For the room you receive it was...

My husband and I will stay here again. The room was really clean. All the linens were clean and of good quality. Plenty of hot water. We felt safe and secure here. Woodbine Inn's buildings and parking areas are very well maintained. The management is courteous and helpful. There are limited restaurants to choose from in Camp Wood, but there...

My wife's family stayed at the Woodbine Inn on their last visit to see us in Camp Wood. We had also stayed there several times previously when we were building our house outside of Camp Wood. All of us had an enjoyable experience each and every stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms a bit small, but perfectly adequate.

We attend a reunion every year at a nearby ranch and stay at the Woodbine Inn each time. The most recent trip makes four years in a row. The Woodbine is what you call your basic motel. It is clean and functional and very quiet. The only thing you occasionally hear is passing motorcycles as the Inn sits on a...

I was traveling with a large group, many of whom had accommodations elsewhere. I had checked this place out via the 'net, and read some reviews....and thought I would give it a try. I made reservations several weeks out, and the lady on the phone was very pleasant, helpful, and efficient. I had arrived early morning, so couldn't get my...

We stayed two nights in Camp Wood and enjoyed the friendly hospitality of this little town. The Woodbine was very comfortable and quiet. The room (2 queens) was large, but the bathroom was somewhat small. There are only 17 rooms, but it was adequately maintained. We hope to return for another visit soon.
