I am a photographer for an online boutique and we used the Pin Oak Bed & Breakfast as our set and it was fantastic. The house is absolutely stunning and the owners of the B&B made us feel extremely comfortable and at home. Walter and Jenny were EXTREMELY patient and nice to us. Anyone who goes to Calvert,TX should definitely...

We came to Calvert to sample the good eats @ Cocomodo after a viewing on one of the many Texas highlight shows. I'm glad we discovered Pin Oak as it was most enjoyable . The host is full of stories as he has studied up on both the house & the city. The story of the many pin oaks on...

I highly recommend this as an elegant architecturally-consistent turn-of-the-century Texas home. Calvert is very small today but 120 years ago was thriving as one of the premiere cotton-growing areas in the South. This old home was owned by the Sneed family for many years and was always maintained from 1900 onward. Your host Walter is a wealth of information and...

I came to the Pin Oak for my cousin's wedding this past summer. It was a DIY affair for our entire family, and to say that Jenny and Walter felt like family by the end of the weekend is not an overstatement. They were unbelievably patient with our happy but hectic crew, helping out in any way they could. The...

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend. Charming home, great operators, wonderful food, great location and priced very well. The rooms and home are very well appointed with period furniture and accents while providing modern conveniences. The soothing wrap around porch with swing and rockers allows one to enjoy varied view. The property has magnificent old oak trees...

Jenny and Walter were practically family by the end of our four-day wedding extravaganza Labor Day weekend. Their home was our home- yard, bedrooms, kitchen, etc! Calvert is a little out of the way for most, but if you find yourself heading that way the Pin Oak is a great stop. You won't find kinder inn keepers or more lovely...

The Pin Oak is a wonderful home away from home. Jenny and Walter are the most accomodating hosts and their home is beautiful and comfortable. We would highly recommend a stay! We were there for a wedding and hope to return for a visit of our own!

This was my wife and I's first stay. However I doubt it will be our last. The whole property is very nice and relaxing. The home is amazing. It has a great front porch with a great yard. Walter is an amazing cook. Breakfast was excellent. I would recommend a stay for anyone.

The managers, as well as the B&B, are excellent! This is truly a class act from the beautiful welcoming grounds to the gorgeous interior...the food and furnishings are impeccable...antiques, charm, and attention to your every need. We have stayed here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. It is clean, efficient, stylish, and a joy to experience!
