Grew up in the next town so I've travelled through Caldwell many times. Friends were booked at the Surry Inn for a wedding in town so we booked also. My husband was a little skeptical when we pulled up to check in and I guess I was a little too. When I went in to check in there was a...

We were given a newly remodeled room that was clean and inviting. We stayed two nights while visiting friends in the area and had a quiet night's sleep both nights. The family owners were wonderful and very inviting. This was a nice surprise in an area with not much to offer in the way of overnight accommodations.

The rooms have recently been remodeled with new beds, flooring, and new bathrooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great place to stay over to visit A&M. The owners were quite friendly and checked in to make sure everything was going well.

This is a very old hotel. We didn't expect much when we booked this hotel, we just needed a place to change and sleep. We've stayed here before several years ago. Well we checked in and went to the room. Opened the door, SURPRISE! Instead of the old dingy green carpeting, we found simulated hand scraped laminate flooring. There was...

We made a reservation at the Surrey Inn and then called and cancelled our reservation. The Surrey Inn then said that we failed to cancell the reservation and we charged for the room. Don't stay there.

Old building...needs lots of improvements. It's like a "toss a coin up in the air" place to stay because the other places did not look any better. Road noise. Price a little high for an old building. I'm glad I took my own blankets and towels!!!!!!😬

Newly remodeled rooms and friendly helpful desk are the high points. The road noise (intersection of two major thoroughfares) was a distraction, bed covers were thin, and there was an ugly 'I don't want to know how that got there' stain on a lounge chair. The front doors also need to be undercut so that they will swing open easily...

We stayed here while visiting College Station for a football game. The location is great; we made it to College Station in 20 minutes and only had to make 2 turns. You can tell it is an old motel but it has been redone. The owners were very nice and friendly. The room was a little dark but clean. There...

I stayed here on a last minute stop from driving fatigue. The room was in decent shape. The building is old but the rooms are adequately updated. Fridge, microwave, hair dryer in room. decent sound dampening between rooms but you can hear outside conversations as if they were in your room. For the price ($68 on a Monday evening) it...
