I cannot say enough about this place. Beautiful, peaceful and clean! My family of 12 all stayed here 4 nights and loved it! We stayed in cabins 7 & 8. Enough room for 6. Everything you needed in the cabins. Sandy beach area for the kids to play and swim. We will definitely be back!
My family and I recently stayed at Willow Point Resort, and it was far more than we expected. This is not a 5 star hotel, but it is a peaceful place to get away from the city. The cabins are just the right size for 5 to 6 people. The kids had a great time and not too many people to where it was crowded. The owners were very attentive to any concerns we had and were extremely nice. We will definitely be going back soon to enjoy the convenience of having the lake steps away from the cabin.
We traded cabin fever in suburbia for a cabin on the lake. Even in a COVID-19 environment, this was a great place to stay and be able to keep your distance was relaxing. As my wife said elsewhere, "This was a great resort. The cabin is cute and clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it." Please review the pictures on Tripadvisor, which are still valid as of May 2020. The cabin was 100% as advertised. The site is VERY close to 2 state parks Ink Lake, Longhorn Caverns and then about an hour from two bat viewing locations as well as Enchanted Rock. Ink Lake doesn't offer cabins like this, but has trails and the Devil's Waterhole. Longhorn Caverns aren't like most limestone caverns, part of the caverns were carved out like Antelope Canyon. Plan ahead to secure day passes to Inks Lake, Enchanted Rock plus scheduling a tour of Longhorn Caverns. Don't forget Cooper's Pit Bar-B-Que and Grenwelge Park in Llano, just 20 minutes away.…
Willow Point Resort is nice, but a little pricey for my taste when you realize what your receive in terms of the accommodations etc provided. The cabins are very clean, but small. The "beach" is rocky for cabins #3-#6 until you get about 40 feet out into the water and then the bottom is relatively sandy and much more enjoyable. I would ask for cabin #7,or #8 if I were to go back. No outside music is allowed. Be sure to ask about rentals for the jet skis and pontoon boats when your register. Management is very accommodating, very responsive and very nice. Overall we had a good time. It is close to Ink lakes State Park.
We enjoyed a wonderful trip at this property. The cabins were are small, but comfortable with a bedroom downstairs & 2 twin beds upstairs for the kids & I believe the couch was a futon style which could be made into an extra bed if needed. It was clean, they had everything you need to cook if you like as far as dishes, pans, coffee maker, utensils, etc. We had an issue with blowing up our large floaters as our compressor died & Gwen was right there to the rescue. The owners are always on site if you need anything. There are no TV’s in the cabins, but there is a community area that has TV, games etc if you need that. Also some outdoor games like horseshoes, toss games & basketball. It was a very relaxing place. We loved the lake & had a great time. No WiFi, but then, you are there to relax so that did not bother us. You need to bring your own food if you don’t want to eat out & they do have BBQs at each cabin, as the majority of restaurants are 10-20 miles away. We would definitely go again.…
I’ve lived in Central Texas my whole life and had no idea this gem was so close. When we arrived there were literally shreaks from the adults. Everything was beautiful, clean and adorable. The cabins are the cutest thing you have ever seen. The kids loved sleeping up in the loft beds. We slept 3 adults and 3 kids comfortably. The cabins are equipped with anything you could possibly need for your stay. I would just bring a beach towel for the lake. We rented jet skis and they were awesome and brought right to us. We had a blast and they explained everything to us on how to work them. Next time we hope to take the boat tour. The property is prestine. The views everywhere you look are amazing and throughout the day you are blown away by the beauty around you. There’s a clubhouse with games for the kids and popcorn, the club house is open 24/7. Our kids loved it. There’s wine tasting tours close by and we had a complementary tasting but couldn’t bear to leave to go do it. Maybe next time. ;) As amazing as everything was the owners are even more so. They treat you as guests staying at their house and make sure you have everything you need. They made our stay so comfortable and so much fun. We are already planning our return trip. Three nights flew by and we need more.…
Super thick towels and great on-point service. The added mini-fan didn't work in the bedroom and the owner made a special trip to replace it. We were here for wedding and our hosts booked the entire resort. With lots of guests coming at one time, the owners accommodated us well. Clean, comfortable and double the number of pillows on beds.
We liked every bit of our stay at Willow point resort. The log cabins were right by the lake, steps away from the beach. The location is perfect. Watched, beautiful sunrises at daybreak and moon glistening over the lake at night, sitting on the front porch. The kids loved playing in the water, kayaking, canoeing, using their floats. The little one also got a ''Easter egg hunt!" The owners attend to the guests personally and take good care of them. Thank you! Hope to come back soon!!
Our family stayed for about a week and had a wonderful time. The kids loved the beach, fishing, canoeing, and playing games. My husband and I enjoyed the evenings just relaxing on the porch and watching the water. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back.
Love this place!! Awesome cabins, great location. Owners are the nicest people and go far and beyond to make sure your visit is great!! Private cabin, fits 4 people comfortably and 6 if you squeeze. Will come back again!!
