My family & I have been to Cedar Lodge for many summers throughout the last 60 years (yes, 60!). The original 1 cabin rental in the early years has now expanded to 7 cabins for our extended family. We have seen Cedar Lodge when it had good owners & we've seen it when it had not so good owners. I have to say that Gwen & Bryan are in the excellent owners' category! They are both great to work with, very personable & caring, & always making improvements to the property.
The cabins are very clean & comfortable with ongoing refurbishing. The Game Room, pool, & outdoor sports equipment are wonderful additions. The beach area at the lakefront is very well maintained & great for swimming. The fishing pier is still in the process of being rebuilt, but we found that the fishing was good from the section already completed. My family doesn't use the Great Hall or the Meeting Hall but those spaces are available for larger reunions.
