We wanted to extend our stay in Round Top but all the local B&B's were booked so we decided to stay at the Ant Street Inn. What a find! The downtown area in Brenham was very charming and the Ant Street Inn was a perfect place to stay. Our corner room was spacious and comfy including excellent linens. We enjoyed...

I don't believe I could have said it any better myself... "What a find!" Brenham and the Ant Street Inn are both amazing! We're so glad you enjoyed your time with us. The owners, management and staff of the Ant Street Inn all work tirelessly to make your stay in Brenham and specifically at the Ant Street Inn one you'll...

Loved the Ant St Inn! The front desk people are friendly and very informative. The rooms are super unique, and elegant in an old fashioned way...we had a lovely view of downtown out the abundant windows in our corner room. They had wine and cheese available upon our check in too! It was a nice and quiet evening and morning,...

Yes, admittedly, Sundays are a little thin. Brenham is, indeed, a small town where family time is still revered. As all of the stores and restaurants in the downtown area are family owned and operated, many of the businesses choose Sunday to rest. It is as it has been for generations in this little burg. And yet, that seems to...

This Inn is definitely not the cookie cutter hotels of modern times. Susie and Keith make sure you have a great stay. Each room is different but every room we looked at made us smile. There is a restaurant in the building and the food was good. There is plenty to do and see in the downtown area, all within...

I must admit: I do not envy the person who would attempt to replicate the Ant Street Inn! You are absolutely right! We're not a cookie-cutter hotel, and we, as well as all of Brenham, are not your typical cookie-cutter experience. Being situated just one block south of the square of historic downtown Brenham, the Ant Street Inn is within...

We left Fort Worth for a long needed get away and found this lovely and charming property. We felt like we had been thrown back in time. The hotel is reminiscent of the mid 1800’s era. The Inn was mostly booked but we were able to reserve the New Orleans room. It is the second largest room there and overlooks...

The New Orleans is my personal favorite. It's not our largest room, but I love to furnishings, the colors and decor... And while we pride ourselves on the authenticity of our antique collection, we're not so tied to the authenticity as to have the original padding! I do love the large, soaking tub and double vanities in the bathroom. We're...

We found this to be the perfect place for a girls weekend! Most bed and breakfasts do not accommodate "friends". This one has 2 lovely rooms that are perfect for friends traveling together. The attention to detail is amazing! The towels and sheets are a true step above and makes for a good nights sleep and a comfy shower. I...

We are often asked if we have an elevator... When I'm feeling a little rambunctious, I might reply, "Why yes! We have 27 little elevators!" Yep, there are 27 steps up to the second floor. We understand all too well that this can be a bit of a challenge for some folks. But please, Please, PLEASE let us know! Any...

I have to slightly reprimand you, however, for spilling the beans on our corporate secret: Magic! And wile we do provide Blue Bell Ice Cream for our guests, it's not really all you can eat... we only stock it once per day! This hotel is charming and cozy. The restaurant was pretty good but the menu choices were pretty varied, and I wish they could simplify it and do several things well, instead of a lot of things that are ok. The town is small, so if you're looking for nightlife, there is about one place open after 7:00 pm. The Inn...

Ahhhhh! The nightlife in Brenham is indeed expanding! With HOMEsweetFARM farmers' market expanding its live music from Friday and Saturday nights to include Sunday afternoons, with the downtown Barnhill Center at Simon Theatre adding performers like Ray Wiley Hubbard and Michael Martin Murphy, and with the Unity Theatre beginning its 22nd season, night life is bubbling around Brenham!
