The friendly, welcoming staff on this mountain top retreat make this an ideal setting for relaxation. The peaceful solitude offers small cabins with fireplaces that can be lit on cool nights, a central lodge for dining, afternoon tea, and evening drinks by the fireplace.

My husband and I came to Hidden Valley for just 2 nights on our honeymoon nearly 20 years ago and enjoyed the exclusivity of the resort while dining with Peter the manager nightly. When we returned 20 years later with our teenage kids, we were just as enthralled as we were back

We stayed at Hidden Valley for a week last November. It was exceptional: the lodge and the reserve it is on are beautiful; and the staff were quite outstanding in their service and attention. The reserve is very large and although there is little wildlife, the paths are well

Dear Linda A Caracol ruins are a +- 2 hour drive from the Inn. Taking a guided tour will include stops at Rio Frio Cave (on the way there) and Rio Frio Pools (on the way back). Other ruins nearby are Xunantunich (1hr 30min away) and Cahal Pech (1hour away), these are much smaller sites and located just the other side of San Ignacio town. I hope this helps! Regards Britt

What side of the building are the Bow Suites?
Hi. I am not certain what you mean by BOW suites. The main house sits facing the West side. Then just east of that, the other buildings lay out either facing the in or another of the cottage buildings. The honeymoon suites are on the South Eastern part of the "estate" area and face towards the forest, with their screened in porch facing the forest. Hope this helps.

does it include food and drinks
Dear Noland H Thank you for your inquiry. Our standard rates are based on room only, however the option to add meal plans or drinks is there. We have some packages that already include the aforementioned food and drink, and we can also customize a package for you if you prefer. My suggestion would be to contact our reservations manager to discuss your interests and she can assist you with this - contact details are available on our website. Please let us know if you have any further questions! Looking forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Britt Twyford - Vaughan General Manager

"The upgrade to the fancier room is really nice, but we barely spent any time in the room so not sure if it was worth it."
