Great family vacation. Room could of done with a good carpet clean but other than that it was on theme and had great facilities. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Had a washer and dryer and full kitchen. We did the room only and this included Great activities including deer spotting, deer feeding and displays by a trick roper... More

We stayed with our two young boys (aged 5 and 18 months) and we all loved it! Sure there were areas to improve on but overall the charm of this place well outweighed that. We stayed in a Fort Apache cabin and the kids absolutely loved it. Had everything we needed in the room - a fridge, table, bunks for... More

It's my 3rd year to attend a golf tournament at the Flying L. They give us a great package deal and I've always enjoyed the stay. It's a beautiful golf course that also tests my game. Meals are included and they feed us really well. The staff also bends over backwards to see that we have a nice visit. We... More

This place has potential to be a truly fantastic resort depending on when you stay here. It combines popular amenities from high class resorts with some aspects of camping (s-mores and a campfire every night, emphasis of many activities on nature and animals). We stayed in a time share villa and it was nice. Clean and comfortable with a full... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback. I apologize for the unexpected early closure of Water Park. In the past, we have left the Water Park open until the end of September. Unfortunately, the Park was primarily empty throughout the month of September. Considering that children return to school in late August, the Resort has consistently experienced... More

We got a decent price through an online service, but they seemed to not really want room only guests. They made it clear all the things you would NOT get when you checked in, and the lady at the desk basically just wanted to get rid of us. I liked the room, but with absolutely no insulation between rooms I... More

Thank you so much for your feedback. I am truly apologetic about your unsatisfactory experience at the Flying L. I have spoken with the front desk staff about the issue. Our current customer service training will be elongated for the next 6 months to deter the occurrence of the issue. Once again, thank you for your feedback. I hope one... More

Had a super time in the hills. Never new Bandera Texas was so nice and picturesque. The ranch has an awesome water park and the rooms are simple, rustic, and what can I say- country. The food is ok but the nightly campfires and the s'mores are fun. Never thought our kids would be so easily entertained with the play... More

Our family visits this "resort" every other summer for a reunion. This will be the very last time we are staying there. We typically book this place because the lodging is set up in a way where we can easily convene together. Also, we could rent out our own dining room for breakfast and dinner. We also used to enjoy... More

Thank you for your feedback. I am truly apologetic to hear about the unsatisfactory services you experienced while stay at the Flying L. Unfortunately, due to our isolated location in the Hill Country, pests are a challenge to completely eradicate. Currently, we set traps weekly and contract pest control operatives bi-monthly. However, this is not an excuse for maintenance bringing... More
