We arrived on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in the afternoon. After checking in, we went to our cabin where the lights were on for us. This was a return trip and the Ranch is under new management. The new manager is SO much more professional and customer service oriented. Our cabin was squeaky clean and welcoming. We were there for 4 nights. The cabins do not offer daily maid service but each day we were asked if we needed fresh towels or other supplies. Beds were comfortable and the atmosphere very quiet. What sets this place apart is the family atmosphere. Daily breakfast at the lodge is included and this was a highlight. The menu offered variety and all guests and staff ate together. It was so nice to meet others and compare stories every morning. A couple of evenings all guests and staff spontaneously met at the office and shared a few adult beverages and snacks. Everyone contributed and again it was so enjoyable to chat and laugh. These experiences make the stay so warm. My husband enjoyed the pool. I visited one day with one of the staff and was able to surprise my husband with a gourmet meal outside on the porch while enjoying the scenery and the sunset. Just another example of superlative customer service.

I rode horses 2 hours on 2 different days. While I have a fair amount of past experience, I appreciated how well the horses were trained instead of just being gentle. The horses were healthy and happy and the perfect complement to the Texas State Park we rode through. Again, Eileen and her staff were totally professional and determined that EVERYONE have a great experience regardless of skill level.

We really enjoyed our stay at the West 1077 Ranch and will return again as soon as possible. This special place really does provide rest, relaxation and permanent relationships. I would encourage everyone to give it a try.

Just an FYI, wifi is available in the lodge at all times but can be sketchy in the cabins.

The location is perfect, miles from anywhere and the sound of silence is striking. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful sunset views to watch the horses finding their way back home. Everything is so relaxing.
The hosts were great and really made us feel welcome. They were happy to help us with anything we needed.
Cabins are cute, the communal lodge is a great idea and had a TV, board games and books/magazines and a sloping pool table. Breakfasts were excellent.
The only blip we had came when we decided to try horse riding. Neither me nor my wife have ridden a horse before, so were surprised when we were prety much let loose without any real kind of orientation. This wasn't helped when the horse my wife was riding decided he wasn't going to play by the rules, constantly pushing forward and biting the other horse. Not great for first timers, it made for an unnerving ride. The ride also ended 20 minutes shorter than the 2 hours we booked. But the worst part was even though Eileen and Mary-Beth kindly took some photos of us, we never received them. We chased these up in a number of e-mails but didn't receive any response. It really took the shine off. Would loved to have gone back but unfortunately, being ignored really disappointed us. We're missing these memories now as we didn't get the chance to take our own photos.

I was part of a small group of about 20 people and had a wonderful experience. I don't know where to start. The hosts were very friendly and catered to all our needs as a group, made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. In addition to an excellent breakfast buffet, they arranged for catered lunches and dinners with delicious food. They took us for a tour of the ranch and visited the horse stables. The cabins are very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Loved the great attention to details like the porch light at our cabin was on welcoming us in the first day. The pool looked very inviting but in January when we were there it wasn't warm enough to take a dip. During our stay we met a family with kids who've been coming here for vacation all the way from Germany for the last 16 years. I'm sure to also go back soon.

My family and I stayed at West 1077 Ranch in March for 2 nights. From the very beginning we felt completely welcome and well taken care of. We loved everything about this place- the cabin, the meals, the fresh baked cookies! Angela was very helpful with our reservation when we had problems with the booking agency. She went out of her way to help us get a deal we had expected but were denied after a mistake by the booking agency. The breakfast's were delicious and we loved the fact they were family style and we could visit with staff and other guests. The horse back ride was outstanding with very knowledgeable guides. We were looking for a ranch experience that was quieter than a lot of those promoted in the area and we got it. We hope to go back some time.

My husband and I stayed two nights at the ranch, and loved it! We were finally able to relax after spending a few days in the city of Austin, and flying from Boston. Eileen is a true gem! She made sure we were well fed in the morning and took us out horseback riding which was super fun and funny since Pistol kept stopping to scratch his butt on all the bushes. haha... We felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. We'll def make the trip back at some point, and visit all the friendly horses and staff! 100% recommended!

We were looking for a local vacation that would not require a plane flight. We found a great outlet for our family fun. We found the staff to be very sensitive to our needs and were very friendly and accommodating. The cabins were more than what we expected and very comfortable. The horseback riding was great fun! Bandara is an interesting and fun side trip from the ranch. Highly recommend the facility!!

I just went for a lovely ride through this 230 ranch and State Park. Everything on website is true, not a touristy, commercial place but one where the owners provide personal attention and take great care of their horses. I recommend booking your next horseback ride through the country with this ranch.

The property is quiet and beautiful. Each morning we woke up to amazing view from our cabin and saw horses and deer walking at distance. The breakfast was amazing. Common area has a pool table, charcoal grill, ping pong table, swimming pool.

Highly recommend the horseback riding on property. Eileen and staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed here over the July 4 holiday. The team was fantastic, the cabins were clean and functional, and the breakfasts were amazing. The guest ranch put on their own fireworks show for July 4, and we hung out by the pool and sipped a bit of whiskey while watching the show. The people that run the ranch are the epitome of neighborly and friendly Texans.

We very much enjoyed our two nights stay with a group of friends. It was a very relaxing time. The cabins were clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great. We enjoyed the nights around the fire pit. Eileen did a fantastic job ensuring us to feel home! The horseback ride at the Juniper Hill Stables was the highlight of the stay!

Looks like your questions have already been answered! Except for the one about the minimum stay, which is two nights. If you need more information, just send us an email and we'll be glad to help you right away!
Bandera, Texas
Bonjour! Breakfast is included, but we do not serve lunch or dinner. Most of our guests drive into Bandera, which is only 10 minutes away and has plenty of restaurants. But you can also bring something to the ranch and eat there: there is a microwave, coffee maker, waterkettle etc. in the lodge and you can also use the grill outside. All the cabins have little refrigerators where you can keep groceries you bring along... Hope you will give a try and visit!
