Thank you so much for your interest in Twin Elm Guest Ranch and 2E RV Resort. We have 200 acres of the most beautiful Texas hill country, where Indian Creek meets the Medina River right here on our property and the sunrise and sunsets are breathtaking. You can enjoy hiking on one of our trails while looking for arrowheads and other Indian artifacts or spend the day floating in the river. We offer horseback riding, sunset hayrides and campfires with s'mores. There is nothing more magical than to sit out by the campfire, look up at the stars and roast marshmallows, listening to stories and/or music. Weekends are especially fun, we get everyone involved in karaoke, because everyone has a song in their heart from the young to the young at heart, you can sing your hearts out at Twin Elm Ranch.

I'd book a room for last september 11th/12th. Because of Covid and no possibility to join Texas from France, I'd to cancel my room according their cancellation policy, one month before arrival. My booking fare was fully refundable. Today, despite mails and phone calls, no reimbursement was never done. So for the moment I can't recommend anyone to book this hotel. If that situation change, I'll reconsider my opinion. Take care when booking with them during Covid times.

Enjoyed our trial ride with Robin (sp?). Well maintained property. Easy ride between the trees. Gentle horses. Saw a few deer. Woman working in the office wasn’t wearing a mask, nor were the other guests we encountered waiting in the office, nor were the kitchen staff. Not smart. Not community-minded.

We are happy you enjoyed your horseback ride, however in our County we are not mandated to wear mask! It is optional here at the Ranch for our Guest if they choose to do so.

Absolutely disappointing. We drove over 5 hours on a holiday weekend to get there, just to be turned away. Upon arrival, we were told that they were over booked and that we did not have reservations. We had booked our reservations 2 weeks prior on booking.com and PAID IN FULL. With all of the mask updates and changes to social distancing guidelines I called the location a week out and spoke to the front desk confirming that we would still be able to have river access, etc. When I mentioned that to the woman who answered the phone when we were trying to check in to our room - she did not care. More than anything she was very unprofessional and down right rude. Her attitude was more "not my problem" than anything. Luckily for us, we were able to get last minute reservations at the Flying L - which was a MUCH NICER facility. My recommendation is to skip this place and book there first!

The Twin Elm is a guest ranch ran by women and men who are interested in your well being and enjoyment. Being there will immerse you in the feel of being a cowboy. They are not a working ranch but have a nice selection of horse so so can go on a trail ride and taste the dust, smell the cedar, and feel the heat as you experience the feel of a live horse moving under you. The heat of the sun on your head and shoulders will help you visualize the way settlers and cowboys felt in earlier years. But even with this you still have the beauty of Texas and the comfort of a modern room to return to at the end of the day. You can go tubing on the ride or work on your tan while lying beside the pool. Additionally, you are close enough to town to enjoy restaurants and night life if you desire.
