Natchez Trace is my favorite state park. It is only an hour's drive from my home so we go there at least once every two months. As others have said it does need some work but it is in a beautiful setting. The state has cut the parks budget to the bone so I don't expect renovations any time soon....

The whole family gathered for my mother in laws 90th birthday. Family members ranged in age from 18 months to 91. All found fun lurking around the corner. 18 month and 3 year old loved pool and playgrounds. The middle group loved hiking and lake activities. All enjoyed the hayless hay ride. Kids also loved animal show. Only dower was...

The Natchez Trace Inn is located about 10 miles south of I-40. Since we stayed off season it was so peaceful and quiet, none of that interstate noise you usually have if you stay right off the highway. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the restaurant onsite served a buffet that had some of the best catfish and hush...

This hotel is located in a TN State Park, so don't expect anything too nice. You are staying here for the location. The rooms are just average, but they served their purpose. The Inn does have a nice large pool, and is located directly on Pin Oak Lake. There is a dinner buffet for $9.99 on the weekends that was...

My husband and I stayed at Pin Oak Lodge over the weekend. We've camped at Cub Lake as a family and he has stayed in the primitive cabins, but never the lodge. We arrived about 1:00p.m. and could already check in. We got to our room and instantly felt comfortable. The room was spotless! It has just been cleaned and...

It looks fabulous from the outside. But don't be fooled! The rooms are disgusting. Our first room must have had a previous smoker who smoked, non-stop, for a month straight! We tried room freshener but it didn't help. How could this property rent such a disgusting room? The second room (on day 2) didn't smell like smoke, more like a...

The setting could not be more beautiful. Lush trees, sweeping lawns, right on a lovely lake. From the pool, we watched fireflies twinkle after dark -- idyllic. The room was clean, and the grounds manicured. The desk staff was apathetic and unsuited for customer service, unable to multi-task or prioritize. There was little evidence of the Southern hospitality typically enjoyed...
