Tennessee Fitness Spa is located 95 miles southwest of Nashville, Tennessee at beautiful Natural Bridge, outside Waynesboro, TN. Indians used the site over several different periods of history. Tribes including the Yuchi Indians from Mexico, the Choctaw, Chickasaw, Muskogean and Creeks walked the trails around Natural Bridge.
I just returned from a wonderful fitness camp 2 hours from Nashville. Tennessee Fitness Spa is an affordable option for anyone that wants to lose some weight or improve your fitness level. Tennessee Fitness offers a wide range of activities and exercise classes that are quite challenging! The accommodations are rustic but comfortable and clean. It is not fancy, but has all the latest equipment. The food was not gourmet but there are different options for special dietary needs. They do close for the winter. They offer a 15% airline discount. I can’t wait to go back!

No matter what your fitness goals are, Tennessee Fitness Spa is a great place to go. They have tons of fun fitness classes to challenge you and tasty food that is carefully prepared according to your personal dietary needs. They give you all the tools that you need to get fit, but it’s up to you how many classes you want to attend and how strict you want to be with your eating plan. Calorie counts are provided for each meal, but if you need more, there are healthy snacks and protein shakes available. For those that want to destress, there is a hot tub and sauna available as well as massages for an additional fee, and the area is abound with natural beauty and historical interest. The staff is supportive and encouraging without being judgmental. One of the best testimonials is the number of long term and repeat guests that they have. The week that I visited, I was one of the few first time guests, and I plan to go again.

My husband really enjoyed his break from working all day on a computer from home during the coronavirus shut-down. We both learned a lot from the kind and knowledgeable staff, enjoyed the fast-paced daily walks, the awesome swimming pool which was super clean without burning one's eyes, the wide variety of challenging yet fun classes, and the delicious, healthy food. All of the guests seemed to follow the precautions regarding distancing and sanitizing, and everybody got to participate in the water classes who wanted to as there was a maximum limit of ten at one time. We enjoyed our meals outside on the covered porch next to the river. The entire place is surrounded by natural beauty. There were very interesting guests from all over the country. There is something for everyone, and you can choose to do as little or as much as you desire. I look forward to returning with my mom and/or sister.

Tennessee Fitness Spa is on 100 acres, the Natural Bridge, the Ice Cave, just to name a few beautiful attractions. The instructors are top notch. They inspire you. Kimi Sue's classes are intense. She makes you want to do your best Toni has great water and gym classes. Pam's water and weight classes were the best. Barry is the "Go Heavy or Go Home" instructor, as well as delivering great lectures about proteins, supplements, just to name a few of the lectures offered at this great spa. There is a dining hall, three meals a day are served. If you're not a meat eater, they have a vegetarian menu. If you don't eat certain foods, or if you have food allergies, they find all this out in the initial check-in. If you do not like something, they will prepare something else for you. The office staff is amazing. Very helpful before I arrived and there for me during my stay to answer any and all questions. The classes are kick your butt wonderful. But if you do not want to do anything, that's up to you. Some people go just to get away from the grind of everyday life. You can sit in the hot tub and unwind. It's all in what you are looking for. Most of the people there during my stay were repeat patrons. I was lucky enough to be there to celebrate their 30th year of being in business. I was also fortunate to be there during Memorial Day weekend. Barry paid tribute in the most honorable way. The place had more flags then you would see at Arlington. I was touched and honored to be there.

What can I say? For me, it was an answer to prayer. Rustic, serene and fitness ‘boot camp’ rolled into one. You can customize your days for your personal needs/desires PLUS an experienced and compassionate staff that will walk along side you to assist in any way possible. State of the art equipment, knowledgeable instructors, awesome pool. The shady campus is beautiful—set alongside a stream (small river?) with historic bluffs with Natural bridge on the other side. It’s peaceful and meditative just to walk around. Bottom line: I loved my stay; got a jumpstart to reducing my weight and getting more fit. Took advantage of a one-on-one diet assessment with a nutritionist and now have a customized meal plan just for me, to keep momentum on my fitness journey. Check it out—it may be just what you need. Oh, plus the bed was awesome. Our deluxe room with porch was comfortable and provided a nice place to sit and just soak in the moment.

Summer health camp. Somewhat rustic, yet relaxing and beautiful. Historical property with charm. The best way I can describe the experience is summer camp for adults. There are cabins just a half mile walk from the activities if you want privacy under the stars, or various room options right near all activities and services. Every fitness class you could hope to try out, spa services, swimming pool, nutrition classes, cycling, personal training, and optional coaching with a dietician. The food is healthy and real, served in their rustic dining lodge. I love nature, wanted to get on track with a healthy lifestyle, and have access to a variety of classes and services so this visit was perfect for me. I stayed a week, but others will stay multiple weeks for more help with lifestyle change. I paid extra for nutritional counseling and massage which were well worth it. Food, classes, lodging were all inclusive. I did bring cash along for staff tips as they did a wonderful job.

Just a fantastic trip - relaxing but as much exercise as you want - and the indoor pool makes aqua classes twice a day possible - and three times a day when they play water volleyball!! While not high cuisine they are so many options for all that you will not be disappointed. My 3rd trip and I can't wait to return.

What a beautiful, green setting for a fitness getaway! Friendly and knowledgeable fitness staff guide you through a wide variety of classes, and the dining staff serves delicious and healthy meals with generous portions to fuel all the activities. Classes are offered to help with taking the information home. The InBody system really is personalized to help you with fitness goals. The guests were friendly and you felt right at home. I absolutely loved it here. You feel like "home" as soon as you arrive. Everyone is so friendly and the grounds are breathtaking. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, and I loved that I could bring my dog with me. The workout facilities are excellent and well-equipped, and the classes are challenging and fun. The cuisine is flavor-packed and there are fun activities each evening. I have been home for 2 days and still miss it there-I can't wait to go back!

TN Fitness Spa is a great place to go and either start your fitness journey or to continue a fitness journey. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. We found many areas of the spa to be peaceful and tranquil to have this.

Yes, our guests will sometimes bring their dog on the morning walks. You are also free to walk your dog on any of the back country roads. There is very little traffic here.
