Blackberry might be one of the best Relais Chateaux properties we have stayed…. And we have stayed in 86! The best part of our stay was the service! The staff seemed to know our need and likes and we were totally spoiled with their friendly, respectful and personalized service. I wouldlike to thank all of them for making our stay unforgettable! Food, facilities and spa were all superb! I would only say that in spite of having soooo many wines they could have a bit of younger ones! For the rest…. The got an A+

Blackberry Farm had been on my travel bucket list for a number of years. We began planning a southern road-trip at the end of 2020, so I decided we should book BF. We were able to secure one of the few remaining accommodations left and it was available for 3 nights at the end of May, so we took the reservation and structured the rest of our trip around it. From the moment we arrived, I knew we made the right decision. We loved everything about our stay at BF. We stayed in the Doll’s Eye room in the main house. It was wonderfully spacious, outfitted with every possible amenity. Frette bed linens, a beautiful bathroom with a huge walk-in shower, wonderful BF toiletries (lavender/bourbon scent). There was a cabinet with a coffee maker, all sorts of coffees and teas, and a drawer full of snacks (not that you really needed them!). The food. What can I say about the food? We loved the breakfasts with the chef’s selection, the specialty pancakes, homemade sausage, homemade pastries, fresh squeezed orange juice. The menu changes daily. We only ate lunch in Dogwood one day and it was very good. The other two days, we had a box lunch (we spent one day going to Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains park, shopping, antiquing etc.). We borrowed one of the Lexus cars that are available for use by the guests. Truly a Lexus experience! We opted to dine all 3 nights at Dogwood. We missed dining at the Barn, but the southeast was having a heat wave while we were there, and we did not feel like dressing for dinner (men must wear a suit coat at the Barn). The farm is beautiful. Reserve a golf cart to take a tour. Don’t miss seeing the puppies, the gardens, the boathouse...the fly fishing with Tanner was also thoroughly enjoyed. The Wellhouse contains the spa and a lovely pool and hot tub. There are many different spa treatments available. There are also many, many activities available at Blackberry. Wine tasting, culinary demonstrations etc. I’d be remiss if I did not mention the incredible staff. There was no request that was too large or too small, and they were all carried out with a smile. We will definitely return to Blackberry Farm. I think we plan to try High Hampton in North Carolina, which is managed by the team from Blackberry.

My wife Robin and I just got home from five amazing days and nights at Blackberry Farm. Having been for our first visit in September last year, we were especially hopeful that this visit would match up to the incredible experience we had the first time. Simply put, it did. If you are looking for a relaxing, casual, friendly, ultra-high quality experience, this is the place. The kitchen is phenomenal. The staff are, to a person, friendly, warm, and immediately responsive. I told my wife it was as if all of the kids who worked for Chick-fil-A grew up and went to Blackberry Farm. The spa and it’s staff are terrific. We did a deep woods meditation, a cooking class, an afternoon at the spa, and 90 minutes with the gardener. All were well worth it. For your first trip, the farmstead tasting tour would be a good way to start your visit. We did that the last time and it helped us get our bearings and get a better sense of this wonderful place. Accommodations were beautiful, quiet, and have everything you could ask for. Simply put, there is a reason that it is booked solidly nearly one year out. Blackberry Farm is clearly an example of an experience where you pay dearly and get what you pay for. It is an enchanting place and caters well to young couples as well as folks in their 60s like us. How much do we love it? My wife will be back with our oldest adult daughter at the end of August. I will be back with my two brothers and father in April of ‘22, and my wife and I will return again for five nights next June. It is just that special and relaxing.

My husband and I spent 4 nights enjoying one of, if not the, finest resorts in the USA. What stood out above the impeccably kept grounds, abundant and perfectly cooked food and incredible “experiences” was the warmth and caring of every employee we came across- they make Blackberry Farm stand out and shine. Every detail you can imagine is thought of to make your stay extra special. Elegant but comfortable surroundings from your room to the restaurants will leave you feeling very relaxed and quite spoiled.

Finally made it to Blackberry Farm: it was so worth the wait. It is everything that I hoped for and more. It’s got to be hard to live up to the hype, I was skeptical. But from the moment we pulled in it was total relaxation. The Farm is stunning and beautifully maintained. We have hiked the trails on property that border the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and we had a guided fly fishing outing. The trout were plentiful but they all got away. If I had to pick one thing to talk about it is the food. Dinner in the Barn was perfect. The chef is brilliant. Bottom line: it is just so worth it. We will be back next year for sure. But first we are going to visit their resort about to be opened in the mountains of NC: High Hampton. Cannot wait!
