My wife and I had an amazing time at the Blackberry Farm! The conceirge was extremely helpful with pre-arrival planning: roses for our room, attending to our dietary restrictions and making sure each restaurant was well aware of our dietary needs, and setting up all our activities - IMPRESSIVE! Seeing the Smokies on HORSEBACK was just wonderful, and MARY made sure our horses had the right temperament for our riding skill level. The food was truly inspired and the choices available made it really difficult to decide which entree to pick! The BARN was like no other restaurant. Great ambience, great service, and of course great food. The service was second to none. Everyone was genuinely happy to see us and not just meet but exceed our expectations. Definitely planning another trip back!

Day 1-air conditioning was not working Day 2-water turned off mid shower as we were getting ready to go to dinner. Had to get out of the shower, put on a robe and walk to the spa to complete showering Day 3-door knob came off in my husband’s hand as he entered our room in the guest cottage. No one in management addressed our issues during our stay, nor has the GM responded to an email about them after our stay. At $1,600 a night + 20% for service charges, you would expect much more. Spend your money elsewhere. This place isn’t worth it. Yes, the grounds are beautiful, but there isn’t much more to it. It seems like a money-grab on their part. Terrible experience.

HONESTLY THE BEST HOTEL I’VE EVER STAYED AT!! ALL AROUND AMAZING!! I would walk all the way back just for the food, and southern hospitality, it was more than that I love how friendly everyone is. The friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Also the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

First and foremost, the customer service was outstanding! It was so refreshing to see the staff jovial and constantly smiling, and it was just a few staff members, it was everyone. I asked several staff members “why is everyone so happy? It’s like you want to be here.” The response was simple, “it’s because we do and we all love it here”. Phenomenal experience from start to finish. The food is outstanding, and they provide a true farm to table experience. Highly recommend the Farmstead tour. You learn so much about the property, so do that experience as early as you can during your stay. Fly fishing was a blast and our guide Chris was very knowledgeable and personable. I high recommend the Lexus test drive experience, especially the LC 500. Did I mention it’s free?!?! Lastly the property is absolutely drop dead gorgeous!!! Truly an experience my wife and won’t forget. We will definitely come back as soon as we can.

My husband and our toddler recently visited and stayed in one of the Singing Brook cottages. We enjoyed the food, beautiful property and wonderful service. I would consider coming back someday but the experience is vastly overpriced for what it is and you can definitely find better value elsewhere. The service is top notch though. After we pulled up in our car and completed the check-in process, we were escorted to our cottage in one of BBF's fleet of Lexus SUVs. Our room was very comfortable with a well stocked fridge and soft classical music playing from the TV. The bathroom is huge and our daughter loved taking baths in the Jacuzzi tub. The lack of natural light is a drawback though. The cottages are quite close to each other so they're surrounded by dense foliage for privacy. We tried getting some light on the porch, but almost got eaten by mosquitos after 10mins. It would be great for BBF to provide citronella candles or bug repellent. The food is very good. I really loved the gulf shrimp and the hanger steak off of the dinner menu. The rotating chef's breakfast plate was also excellent and did a great job combining a protein and veggies. The desserts were a little boring though and overall underwhelming. We're also spoiled by living in NYC and after three days I was really craving some good Korean/Italian/Chinese. The beautiful grounds were the highlight of the trip for us. My daughter loved the little boathouse and visiting the puppies and sheep. Since we were staying in the cottages, we were given a golf cart which made getting around the property really fun and enjoyable. We did a couple activities including canoeing and pony time. Our guides were very patient and personable. We enjoyed the activities but an hour with a pony at $250 and a couple hours of canoeing at $400 seemed really overpriced, especially given how much we were paying for the room. All in all we enjoyed our family trip to BBF but I probably won't be coming back anytime soon.

Easily the most relaxing resort that pays attention to the smallest details that enhanced the experience. Tremendous food done in creative ways. Using fresh vegetables and cheeses made in the farm, the food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was great. Staff whose job is to cater to their guests. Relaxed surroundings in the mountains, the scenery is spectacular.

We visited the farm with my six year old daughter for a long weekend a few weeks ago and had a mostly great stay, but my mind was blown looking at the final bill. In my opinion, the activities should be included (or steeply discounted). The farm tour—which was essentially a walking tour around the property—was insanely priced. We could have done the tour ourselves. Archery was great, but again, the cost did not match the experience. My daughter adored the blackberry camp, both at the farm and on the mountain. Without the camp, I would not recommend taking children here. On a rainy day there is little to do and if camp is not available for your kids, you will have a really hard time. I recommend the property purchase board games etc for children to use in the clubhouse. The food was excellent. I personally liked breakfast and lunch better on the mountain property but dinner at the Barn was top notch each night. It would be great if there was a free car service to take folks staying at the mountain to dinner at the Barn if they preferred. Lastly, we felt they really took advantage of Uber/Lyft not being able to find the property bc of lack of cell service by their ridiculous $212 price tag for the 20 min ride to the airport. If you can, I recommend taking an Uber from the airport to the farm and then taking the number of that driver for when you need to return. Overall, it was a nice experience but for what it was at that price tag, I don’t think we would return. Also, A+ to the staff.

Thank you for sharing your experience. You are correct that Uber and Lyft are very limited in our area. We recommend making other arrangements as you suggest for departure transportation.

My husband and I have travelled the world. Now, after a few visits to Blackberry Farm, about six times a year, we fly to Knoxville, TN to be picked up by a limo and taken to Blackberry for perfection in a getaway. There are exciting things to do at BBF, but we check into our Singing Brook Cottage and spend most of the week sitting on our porch and reading good books. We explore every corner of the gorgeous place in our golf carts, take walks, and eat the finest food to be had anywhere. Let the young guests ride horses, shoot trap, flyfish, bicycle, climb trees, paddle board, water ski, or partake of the spa goodness and musical offerings. We go for rest and relaxation. We do not even work the Stave Puzzles provided--way too stressful. There is no better place for rejuvenation of body and spirit than Blackberry. Any season is spectacular at this farm-to-table Tennessee paradise.

Beyond fabulous We have visited before in the fall and loved it. This time we chose a 3 night stay in springtime. The flora on the Great Smoky Mountains were just budding. We hiked, splurged at the spa and enjoyed divine meals at the Barn and in the Dogwood Cafe. We visited the Lassotto Romagnoli puppies, 14 in all perfectly adorable and all spoken for. Our cottage in the Holly Glades was lovely, beautifully decorated and uber comfortable. In short, there was not a single thing that wasn’t perfect. Cannot wait to return.
