The Inn is a beautiful location with well-appointed rooms. We were in the Stickley Room which had a stunning view of the mountains. The room was comfortable though not as clean as we would expect. The seating, bed and bathroom were all very comfortable. The main room of the Chalet was very comfortable also, though it could be cleaner also....

Tucked away on the quiet side of the Smokies is a delightful bed and breakfast made in the shape of an Appalachian Cantlever barn. Each of the rooms honors someone who was influential in Appalachian culture. Our room was very comfortable and interestingly decorated, and the breakfasts and evening desserts were delicious.

This is a nice isolated Inn located high in the woods, I have a problem with the term luxury being used in some descriptions. I will spell out below. First the pros. I will review the main building and grounds. All rooms are well decorated and roomy, only The Lucy Morgan room has an unobstructed view of the mountains. All...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Casual country Luxury. Breakfasts were delicious and staff are very friendly. Piped music and dessert options in the evenings. Converted barn style b&b. We had private balcony. Small with view of small garden area and pond in the back. Nice setting, difficult to find at first arrival. Navigation devices not accurate.

I was there for a wedding nearby. The season was coming to an end for the area. Lovely fall colors and great gateway to the Smokey Mountains. The inn keepers were pleasant people to talk to. They served us breakfast and a dessert in the evening. Many people go there for a weekend getaway. Room was comfortable.

We enjoyed our two nights at Richmond Inn. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the Lucy Morgan room and the mountain view was unbelievable! It was heavenly to sit on our balcony and drink coffee. The candlelight desserts and delicious breakfasts were great too. Two suggestions: 1. Breakfast should include meat. (I was hoping for some Richmond...

As a young couple in our 20s we had never stayed at a B&B before. We usually camp or stay in cheap hotels. We travel alot and rarely sit still. After much husband went into cancer remission this year I wanted a quiet secluded place to stay for a couple nights and unwind from the hardest time in our young...

We stayed one night after visiting the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and still recall how kind the proprietors were to be flexible with out arrival and to allow us to build a fire in the fireplace in the Robert Mize room! Mrs. Hind kindly recommended a local hangout that was just our style for dinner. Then we returned after...
