My husband and I spent a week traveling through Shenandoah NP, Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains NP. We booked Richmont for a night at the end of our trip. We were so pleased with everything it had to offer that we added an extra night just so we could experience the surroundings longer. The Inn itself was so quaint, warm and welcoming. The hospitality provided by Dwayne was top notch. We highly recommend the Richmont Inn and can not wait to go back.

They do not answer phone, do not return phone calls, do not return emails, and their website does not exist. Check their Facebook page as I think it has only 1 recent post (rest are about a year old) complaining about communication. It is in a beautiful location, and perhaps was worth over $200/night at some time in the past, but the grounds and rooms are neglected and desperately in need of care. There are way too many other options available than booking here. The owner was contacted by the chef on her personal cell phone for us when we had to leave after only one night and nobody was there to help us check out. She did only charge us for the one night. She promised me an email confirming this that I never got. I called her cell, sent her texts, called the Inn and left several messages asking to be called back - no reply.

The inn is located in the most beautiful place, the views are breathtaking. We stayed a couple of nights whilst on a Roadtrip. The service was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, ok but not great. Such a quaint place we loved it.

My husband and I stayed at the Richmont Inn for a week while we explored the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and other local attractions. We loved every moment of our stay! The staff, especially Rebecca, Amanda & Jody, were fabulous! They were so attentive to our needs and quickly learned our preferences. And, the food was so delicious. The nightly candlelit dessert was our favorite! They even baked a special birthday cake for my husband and left dessert in our room if we were out past the time that they typically serve. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and a bedside fireplace that was ready to be lit at the end of each long day of adventuring. And, we had a cozy little balcony with an amazing view of the Smoky Mountains! I would highly recommend this beautiful inn to anyone and hope to have the opportunity to visit again someday! My wife surprised me with a birthday hiking adventure to the Smokey Mountains. We stayed at the Richmont Inn in Townsend, Tn. We stayed an entire week at this amazing secluded little hide away. The entire week was amazing. The room was very clean and comfy. The bed was great after a long day hiking. The fireplace was always ready to light and relax by. The mountain view was spectacular. I think my favorite part was the staff. Rebecca, Amanda and Jody were FANTASTIC. We really wanted for nothing. I would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful inn to anyone and everyone. I know where I will stay the next time I'm back this way. Thanks again for a great week. Dan R.
