We stayed one night after visiting the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and still recall how kind the proprietors were to be flexible with out arrival and to allow us to build a fire in the fireplace in the Robert Mize room! Mrs. Hind kindly recommended a local hangout that was just our style for dinner. Then we returned after... More

The Hinds have such an interesting variety of paintings and history on display! Especially loved the evening dessert and scrumptious breakfast! The wooded pathways with little pools, plantings and birds singing made for a peaceful retreat.

My wife and I had a two-night stay at Richmont Inn as part of a date weekend in the Smokies. Our experience was wonderful and we would recommend it to anyone who is looking for relaxing, peaceful accommodations with delightful amenities (e.g., a spa tub and fireplace). The breakfast each morning was delectable and filling. We highly recommend their namesake:... More

First, let me say this is a very nice place. But I rate places and restaurants based on value - higher prices mean I expect more. The Richmont Inn was not worth the cost. Considering it is a modern, non-historical place in a gated community along with the issues I found, I would seek a better place. We picked the... More

I want to thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience. I apologize for not meeting your expectations. We stayed at the Richmont Inn for our anniversary and it was a lovely B & B. The property is nestled away and our room had a lovely view of the mountains. Jim and Susan are delightful inn keepers, and treat their guests very well. Breakfast was delicious, which started the day in peaceful grand style as we enjoyed every... More

If you are looking for solitude then this is for you. Not the bed and breakfast rooms but the suites. Peaceful and beautiful. Lots of singing birds to relax you. We were able to get a suite on Friday night of Memorial Day. Booked it that morning and got there at 4. That could be the reason that the room... More

We thoroughly enjoyed returning to the Richmont Inn after twenty years. Jim, Susan and their staff looked after us extremely well, with a comfortable room, delicious breakfasts and wonderful desserts in the evening. Having a beautiful golf course 5 minutes away was the icing on the cake for us .

What a lovely property and inn! While the inn has probably seen a wee bit more upkeep in the past, it is still a very special place. We spent 2 nights in the Lucy Morgan room which was very, very lovely. Unfortunately, one of the light fixtures was not working so the room was a bit dark. However, the furniture... More

We stayed here for our anniversary, and had a very charming, romantic experience. We stayed in a lovely room. The staff and owner were great, warm, and welcoming.
