We were rafting in Bryson & on a whim decided to ride across the mountain. Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge were miserable full & crowded w/ no vacancies all over. So after looking online I found Tremont. We'd stayed in town 1 other time @ the Best Western & were happy w/ them. We are bad about last min trips &... More

I am in this business and I know how hard it is to please everyone. My family is from an hour away so I chose a place to celebrate my husband's birthday with our two grand daughters that had pools, playground, space to run and walk and was affordable on the bike path. I was happy and relaxed the entire... More

We wanted something nice that was close to Gatlinburg but not around all the city stuff so after reading the most recent reviews and calling to find out they had updated many of the rooms we decided to book here. First let me start off saying first Impressions are everything. As you drive up it is obvious that the front... More

Nice location and facilities. Rooms need help and lock system poor. Locked out 3 times. Food onsite would be an upgrade. Pool was not open. New owners so I hope they make improvements. Check before you go. Rooms were large. Office not open late for help.

The last time I stayed at this place was not pleasant The way the group was treated was horrendous and I had indicated that on a previous posting here on TripAdvisor. Now under this new manage there is a wonderful change in how we as a group were treated plus the fact that all of the rooms were totally updated... More

Not a bad motel. I thought it a bit pricy for what it was but the staff is outstanding.. Few problems with the room. The toilet nearly overflowed each time we flushed and the shower drained very slowly .. Had to kick the door at the bottom to get in the room.. We didn't get a remodeled room so I'm... More

My family and I enjoyed the drive to the lodge and found it to be very nice. Due to our late arrival, Morgan phoned us at 9:50 pm to see how we were progressing and assured me he would be there when we got in. Check-in went flawlesly and finding our room was simple. The room was very spacious, room... More

My family and I just needed a one night stay on our way to Smoky Mountain National Park and did NOT want to stay in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The town of Townsend was great. We stayed at the Tremont Lodge. I highly recommend this hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Sorted out a problem with our reservation without any fuss. They made a dinner recommendation and booked it for us. Very nice setting with a good outside swimming pool Rooms are typical motel, comfortable with a good bed and shower. Fairly noisy aircon though liveable with. No privacy curtains so if you are on the... More
