Spent a week with Big Meadows, had an excellent experience. Check in folks were prepared and more than friendly. Nice amenities and close to everything we wanted to see. Pulled an enclosed trailer carrying my motorcycle behind my motor home and had plenty of pull through space and we were not crowded what so ever. This has now become my go to rv resort in the area. thank you for a Great experience!

Enjoyed another stay at big meadow. Easy access to the little river and a great tubing company. Love Townsend with super jogging and biking paths, great restaurants, shops, and of course the great smoky mountains Staff and owners are the best in the industry!

We have enjoyed our weekdays and weekends here so much that we decided (years ago) to keep our camper stored here. The Johnson family and staff are great! The bathrooms/bathhouse are key less and very clean. We love that it is a gated campground! We highly recommend this campground! The Johnson family and staff will take good care of you! This is our home away from home! So glad we found Big Meadow Family Campground!

So glad to be back at Big Meadow. The staff is great. They go above and beyond. The grounds are very well taken care of. We are on a river site and the views are awesome. We enjoy our walks along the river. Can't recommend enough. We so enjoy the peaceful side of the Smokies.
