My husband and I had a wonderful stay for our anniversary. The king villa was exactly as pictured and described- gorgeous and spacious, perfectly cozy with a more modern feel than your typical cabin. The entire place was spotless and we were just so impressed with the attention

My wife and I booked one of the new luxury cabins in early Dec for a couples retreat. It didn't quite work out (I will explain) but all the high reviews about the resort are right on!!

The whole resort from the base of the hill reception area and Coffee Shop/Bistro and the Gene

Met at the Dancing Bear with family traveling in from all parts and stayed in the cottages.
Very rustic and cozy with fireplace and king beds. Also enjoyed the marked trails thru the woods on the property. Best part was dinner for our large group at the bistro in front of the h

The title of my review is part of Dancing Bear Lodge's motto and that description is certainly true. This lodge is set back into the woods in the quiet town of Townsend, right on the edge of Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It is a lovely gathering of cabins among the trees,

Dancing Bear is always wonderful! It is a nice and quiet place with wonderful amenities! We love eating at The Bistro and sitting by the fire pit at night roasting marshmallows. The Dancing Bean coffee shop is a great new addition. All the employees are very customer oriented. We

Planning to drive from SC. Does the property have electric car / Tesla chargers? Saw it listed on an EV site but wanted to confirm... can’t find it on their website.
We have a Tesla charger yes ! It’s in front of the Evergreen cabin and is only used occasionally. We have never had to “reserve” it so shouldn’t be an issue . To be perfectly safe please let us know if you decide to stay with us — the specifics of the length of time you may need the charger and the dates. Many Thanks !

Any 3 bedroom, 3 baths.?
I would definitely call them. They own a massive house overlooking the mountains in a different area there that can be rented. Might be worth looking into depending on your budget and needs.

Is this a suitable place to stay with kids (6/8)? I noticed some cabins specified no kids. If so, any particular cabin that is best for a family of 4?
We have stayed in the cabin last New Year’s and enjoyed the stay. It was a two bedroom and had plenty of room for kids so I don’t see any problem. Summertime is great in the area with lots of things to do and see. The restaurant is great for dinner and there are many other places to eat breakfast and lunch.

How far is the casino from the lodge?
Don't know that I would want to visit a casino when this area has so much else to offer......
