We stayed in Newfound Gap. Great location. Great cabin. We even had a hot tub on our deck. A great place to enjoy a few quiet days. Very convenient to Cades Cove in Gatlinburg entrances to Smoky Mountains.

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2016 via mobile

The Dancing Bear was the very best part of our Smokey Mountains experience. Incredible accommodations, remarkably pleasant and attentive staff, gorgeous facility, great amenities, we have nothing but the best of things to say about everything surrounding our time in Metcalf Bottoms at the Dancing Bear. We are now looking forward to our next visit to the area to enjoy... More

We were very pleased with the location and how quiet the property is. The cabin was spotless and just perfect for families. We loved the complimentary goodies and items in the fridge. The front porch rocking chairs were a nice touch. The kids love the hammocks.

Loved this place! Please note - we did stay in a brand new cabin. The little café down by the road is real good! The restaurant at the lodge looks charming but the menu was disgusting looking and limited. Wish it would improve then I would try it! Over all great place to stay.

All the reviews I read prior to our stay, were true. Enjoyed everything from the homemade granola to the comfy king bed to the cozy porch. Exceptional service & food at the Bistro! Will be back hopefully soon!

My wife and I spent a fantastic week at Dancing Bear Lodge this past August. The cabin was beautiful and well appointed, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained and the service was fantastic. As an example, we had been out hiking all day, came back to the room at night and the air conditioning had gone out. With the... More

My husband and I were on a motorcycle trip and had just stopped to put our rainsuits on when a woman asked if we were booking in. By the end of the conversation we had rented a cottage instead of going back out in the rain but it was the best decision we made that vacation. The cottages are absolutely... More

Wonderful private cabin with hot tub on back porch with rockers and swings. Interior appointments were great. Bed was king with luxurious overstuffed pillow top mattress. Also included large whirlpool tub inside and separate shower/toilet/sink. Great kitchen, stone fireplace. parking just outside cabin.

Ok stay but had some frustrations... TV, lights and refrigerator did not work. Breakfast, therefore, was not good (juice, yogurt). Under staffed. Restaurant fabulous ... Worth going for that alone. Nice trails for short hikes

We rented 4 cabins for family reunion. It worked out really well we were able to have private time and get together for drinks and socialize when we wanted to. Loved the hiking trails nearby. The restaurant was wonderful and we would walk down to main shopping for breakfast. They provided homemade granola and yogurt for light breakfast.
