Wer made our way to Backbone Rock Recreation Area for a picnic. The area has several trails for hiking...they can be challenging because of the incline, but well worth it. The creek provides ample exploration opportunities and there are plenty of places to have said picnic. The rock itself is quite amazing. A great stop to take advantage.
