Hotel's Favorite
My room was huge with a fireplace that at this season just looks pretty. The bed was comfortable. Decor was attractive. Coffee station, refrigerator, nice quality soaps, nice sheets - all made for a good experience. Room has a balcony. Nice, typical breakfast offerings on second floor. Couple of pools. The whole building is super clean. My only negative is that the bed pillows are heavy as lead and not fluffy at all.

The Good:
This property is located directly on the Parkway. It is convenient to pretty much everything.
The room was clean, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. Sweet, sweet ladies!
The Bad:
As we unloaded our car, a smoker stood at the end of the walkway. I'm not sure this was a designated smoking area, but if it is, perhaps the hotel could move it to an area where non-smokers don't have to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter the property.
Security is an issue. We were on the ground floor, and our patio door had a plate glass window with a turn knob dead bolt. The property could be accessed by anyone off the street, and with a rock to break the glass, they could be in our room in seconds. I don't know what another option might be, but we put something in front of the door each night for peace of mind. If I stay here again, I'll ask for a room on an upper floor.
The Best:
This hotel had a hot breakfast!!!! They probably have no idea how much we appreciated the extra effort they went to to make this happen. It takes extra staff, but it was so very nice. We went through a line, and employees wearing gloves and masks put the breakfast items we chose in styrofoam "to go" boxes and a bag that we took back to our rooms to eat. Thank you Comfort Inn for making this happen and for making things feel even a little bit normal.

We are facing some very strange times. The norms for staying in hotels have changed. I don't like it!
This hotel, however, has made it an enjoyable experience. Upon entering the lobby to check in, I was welcomed with the best, brightest smile and lovely holiday decorations. We all need that! Smiles and a lovely atmosphere. This hotel provided. Check-in was a breeze thanks to our hostess. Not once did she look troubled by having to work with me. She looked like the happiest person. For that I am grateful. We had two rooms purchased and both were perfect. I felt safe, comfortable and invited while staying. I believe the biggest thing is breakfast. I have stayed in many hotels during this COVID-19 season and this was the first to have a full service breakfast. I am eternally grateful. I can handle only so much of the bagged granola and yogurt snacks or pastries. This place offered a full service breakfast. Two lovely ladies served it (which doesn't bother me at all....I'm not a germaphobe but even before COVID-19 I questioned eating in hotels where multiple people touched the serving utensils or sneezed and coughed at the bar). Each morning biscuits and gravy was available, along with eggs and either bacon or sausage. All fantastic tasting! Of course the typical pastries were available as well. It was to go and I am fine with that!
Housekeeping was great. I loved being able to check the services I want on a door hanger so that way I could get a few things done but not the whole cleaning of the room. Great idea!
I cannot wait to stay again! Thank you for going above and beyond!!

Great hotel for the budget-minded. Choice Hotels can be hit or miss, but I’m happy to say that this one hits more than it misses.
Pluses: Great location. Right across from the outlet mall (walkable) with lots of nearby eating options without being in the heart of Pigeon Forge where traffic can be a beast. Room was at a great price point ($109) and was much larger than a normal hotel room with an added sitting area. A microwave and refrigerator were a welcome bonus. The room was clean, even upon thorough inspection. Many places ‘look’ clean, but fail in a closer look. The full breakfast during the pandemic was a treat. It’s set up like a cafeteria and you are served in a line in to-go containers. The food was your basic breakfast fare, but it was hot and good and served by friendly ladies. In fact, all of the workers we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Folks are right, the hallways do smell like apples, but in a fake Renuzit kind of way. I didn’t find it all that appealing. Had issues with keys getting deactivated and kept having to go back to front desk. (3 times during our visit) Room faced the main drag and we heard loud trucks from time to time. The biggest noise came from the refrigerator. It sounded like it was about to take off! Very loud. The heater was loud, too. Luckily, we were tired from our event and it really didn’t affect us.
All in all, this is a great option in a place where there are many.

Got put on hold 3 times while trying to book, 2 more times while at the desk trying to check in. Paid over $300 for a $130 room, made sure to ask Guy the front desk operator about the jacuzzi (much needed after todays 14 hour hard labor job) and find out the jacuzzi been out since atleat Christmas eve. from another customer. Bathroom spray nozzle only sprays your chest.

This Comfort Inn is a complete hidden gem! Whole we booked a cabin for our stay this time around, we decided last minute to head to TN a day early and needed a place to stay. I searched for quite a while during our drive and found nothing:/ We decided to stop here because there were so few reviews and I wanted to see before I booked… we were totally blown away! The staff were extremely friendly upon checking in. This Inn is extremely clean. I don’t usually allow my children to take tub bathed in hotels….this place was an exception if that says anything. Every part of the room was spotless. The pools (which are sometimes a tell for me also) were VERY clean. Towels were also provided at each pool which is uncommon in my experience with hotels.breakfast was delicious and served in a very clean area as well. There was great variety. We will definitely keep this on our list and return in the future!

A charming hotel right on the cusp of Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. We stayed for 6 nights for Christmas and had a restful and relaxing time. We stayed in a double queen room that was clean and had ample space, though I wish it included a safe. The bed was very comfortable with choice of soft or firm pillows, though I did see one very light stain on the side of the fitted sheet, but I could tell they probably bleached the heck out of it to remove it. Another issue I had was the seal on the mini fridge wasn’t fitted properly, and so it didn’t stay as cold as it should. Moving to the bathroom it was clean and tidy with ample towels, toilet paper, tissues, and toiletries. The water pressure in the shower was the best I’ve ever had, but the temperature fluctuates wildly without even touching the faucet, and the tub drained so poorly I was ankle deep in seconds. We didn’t feel like dealing with moving rooms or having people come in to fix once we discovered the issues, so we just delt with it. The complimentary breakfast was tasty, with changing options the various days we were there, and don’t forget to get free hot apple cider or coffee in the lobby at any time!

I was very surprised by this hotel. It looks well kept but still looked like it could use some sprucing up. The doors to go in the room are old with updated locks. Very big rooms with a patio. Decent breakfast with a variety of hot foods and bagels/bread and ample seating. Front desk are friendly, the housekeeping and the breakfast crew didn't say hello or smile.
The pool was nice however, it felt slippery when your bare feet touch the tiles.
One minus is the bathroom. It felt small. The toilet and the sink are very close together - if you are using the sink, your legs are touching the toilet.
I would come back based on location ( close to Tanger outlet, Walmart and restaurants) and the size of the rooms.

Stayed 3 nights at this wonderful hotel..we had 2 rooms asked for adjoining rooms and got it was so nice we didn’t have to be split up. Our rooms was 218 and 219 had nice view of parkway from our rooms balconies.
Beds was comfortable and the rooms was spotless and I mean spotless! Loved that the rooms had a sofa and 2 beds with a desk and chair. Plenty of furniture. Everything was so clean and smelled so fresh and good. The halls smelled like apples I don’t know if that’s some kind of air freshener they use but I loved the smell.
The free breakfast they have was delicious all of my family kept saying how good it was. The breakfast room is on the 2nd floor I’m glad we was on the same floor with it. They put your food in to go boxes I loved that actually wish it was like that all the time. Sausage and bacon they changed up days with the meat I liked that. Eggs biscuits and gravy. Fruits donuts cereal muffins oh my it was so good. I read on someone’s review that they didn’t like the breakfast and said it tasted like hospital food. I have never had food taste like that in a hospital. We thought it was delicious. I’m going to miss not having it in the mornings now that I’m back home. Lol
The employees was nice and check in and out was a breeze. They have a beautiful outdoor pool and nice indoor pool with a hot tub we didn’t get a chance to swim cause we stayed so busy but maybe next time. We can’t wait to stay again.

A night that almost went to hell saved by Julie, manager of this Comfort Inn. Our planned stay did not work out for our family, so my husband had to make a quick reservation in the night, but our paid and booked room was cancelled last minute by the online booking system without any notice. We found that out once arrived at the hotel. Needless to say, upset and stressed. It was late and we had 3 minor children in the car 2 were special needs. We felt defeated, because hotels were fully booked. Front desk staff acknowledge our frustration and concerns. She reached out to the manager Julie and was able to get our family a stay elsewhere for the night. Julie went above and beyond and covered our night expense. Next day we returned to this Comfort Inn and stayed the rest of our family vacation. We were able to meet Julie and thanked her. Customer svc was amazing. Management was exceptional!! She went above and beyond and made a disastrous night turned into a very comforting vacation for our family. Furthermore, the room and hotel was very sanitized and clean. Safety procedures and protocols were practiced throughout. Staff were very accommodating and caring. Our family truly appreciate the kindness and wonderful customer service. We highly recommend this Comfort Inn 1850 Parkway, Sevierville TN 37862 and will definitely stay again.
