We have stayed at Appleview several times, and it is always enjoyable. We usually stay at least a week, but this time we were only able to stay 3 days. Our condo was clean, well equipped, and ready on time. I had to request some last minute adjustments to our reservation, and Angel was very helpful and willing to help us out. We spent out time in the area exploring in the park, visiting one of the dinner shows, and sampling a couple of the restaurants. We will be back and hopefully stay longer next time.

Location was great for area. Quiet location at this time as there is new construction in the area which will change noise levels. Inside cleanliness was OK but there were a lot of spider webs on both front porch and back patio, which would make me question their cleaning fee. There was even a birds nest in the wreath on the front door.

Been coming to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area a long time and had never ventured down the road beyond the Apple Barn. My husband and I had a peaceful visit and we enjoyed our condo with the tranquil view of the river from the balcony. I believe the condo we were in had been recently refurbished, and I absolutely did not see a speck of dust anywhere, which made me very happy! The complementary breakfast at the Apple Barn is a great perk - we saved it for our last morning before driving home. Some things I liked that I wish some other condos would incorporate: 1) Sending the text when your condo is ready, even if it's earlier than checkin time; 2) Locking extra bedrooms and baths so a larger condo can be rented reasonably for a smaller group. Even though we only needed one of the two bedrooms in our condo, we loved being able to pay a bit extra to have the use of a second bathroom. 3)The ease of having the door lock code sent in the text, never having to stop by an office. We were there during weekdays, so that might have played a part in the peacefulness of our visit. I heard a bit of movement upstairs, but it wasn't bothersome. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. FYI, it is across the street from the condos, closer to the villas. We did take a walk one evening along the river and enjoyed the cute animal statues and had a short rest in the Adirondack chairs by the river. We definitely plan to return!
