Berry Springs Lodge garners high praise for its aesthetically pleasing and spotless rooms that boast breathtaking views, although some guests have noted a lack of certain amenities. The lodge's serene yet convenient location is a hit among those seeking both peace and proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The value offered is generally appreciated, especially given the delightful meals, although there are occasional mentions of unexpected fees. Amenities like snacks, hot tubs, and fireplaces, alongside the staff's exceptional service, contribute to the lodge's welcoming atmosphere.

One word - awesome. The weather was wet outside, but it didn’t matter because we had a warm and comfortable seat by the fire. Unlike a hotel, Berry Springs adds a personal touch that makes you feel pampered, whether it’s the robes in your room, the snacks, or a soft blanket to snuggle under. Staying at Berry Springs has spoiled us to the point that it’s impossible for us to feel comfortable in a hotel, regardless of the brand. Sue and Patrick are extremely friendly and accommodating hosts and go the extra mile to make your visit enjoyable. Melissa always greets you with a smile and sees to it that your needs are met. My husband and I cherish children and we absolutely love our pets, but we also love the fact that Berry Springs is an adult only and no pets establishment. Nice and quiet and without the worry of allergies. Berry Springs is our happy place.

From the moment we came to Berry Springs Lodge we felt welcome. I had done research on romantic places to get married and my now husband and I decided this was the place. All the stresses that come with planning a wedding were eliminated. We only had to get our marriage license from the courthouse. The minister, flowers, wedding cake and photographer were all taken care of. The day we arrived (Halloween) the power was out that afternoon from storms and they still checked us in. We were able to unpack and relax and sit by the fire. Every evening there are homemade desserts that will wow you. Every morning you go into the dining area and there is a delicious custom breakfast with muffins, juice, fruit and main entree. It is so well thought out and homey here, you feel like old friends. The housekeeping is beyond amazing. It is so clean and taken care of, it spoils you for going to even the nicest hotel. The room had a very nice shower, gas fireplace, balcony and a hot tub. We enjoyed the balcony and hot tub every night as well as the plush robes. There are 2 ponds with huge catfish, hiking trails and biking trails, tons of movies you can watch, snacks, drinks, rocking chairs and rolling hill views that make you forget the stresses of everyday life. When we were there in November, there was always a fire going in the fireplace downstairs in the main area. Guests can just sit at their leisure and read, socialize or relax to a roaring fire. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days and were sad to leave. Patrick, Sue and Melissa are kind, warm and very gracious. We highly recommend Berry Springs to people looking to elope or couples that need a romantic getaway. It is very centrally located to all the hot spots in Pigeon Forge.

This is our 5th year and 6th visit to Berry Springs; our Happy Place, as I call it. No place could be more beautiful, peaceful or perfect.Pat, Sue and Melissa always make sure that every breakfast is delicious, every dessert scrumptious, every room spotless, and everywhere peaceful. It's the perfect place.

Everything was wonderful. We wanted a quiet peaceful trip where we could still get into town easily. This place was it. Patrick and the housekeeper Melissa made sure we had everything we needed each day without being overwhelming and we went without any needs. Breakfast was filling and delicious before our days hiking or lounging. Nightly desserts were great and the available ice cream sandwiches were a perfect touch too for if we still had the munchies. Their kindness was amazing. The all glass shower was SPOTLESS (Melissa is the best!). Those things are aweful to clean so seeing that alone made me realize we never saw anything that needed cleaning and they frequently sanitized. The views from our sunrise hot tub room were breathtaking and our family and friends already have looked into going themselves. If we ever visited that area again- hands down it would be at Berry Springs! I miss walking into the front sitting area breathing in that buttered maple syrup!!!

We cannot recommend Berry Springs highly enough. It is impeccable in every way, and Patrick, Sue and Melissa have honed the art of a well-run B&B to its finest. Beautifully appointed rooms; plentiful and delicious breakfasts; a stunning view of the rolling hills; fun activities to do on site; a library of hundreds of DVDs -- no details have been left unturned. This was our second visit, and anytime we go to this area, we will stay there again, without question. If you are going to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, get thee hence to Berry Springs Lodge posthaste! :)

It's hard to know where to start? This was our first trip to Berry Springs, but certainly not our last! From the moment we entered the lodge, we were amazed at how beautiful everything was. The owners, Sue & Patrick, haven't forgotten what Excellent Customer Service is about. They took care of our every whim. The home cooked breakfast each morning was delicious and an abundance of food, and the special treat of a yummy dessert each evening! We stayed in the Maple Springs room, which offered a sunrise view with private balcony and a gas fireplace for cooler weather. The furniture was knotty pine, beautifully crafted and the bed was very comfortable. The bath was large with granite vanity and walk-in shower. Couldn't have been more pleased. Very quiet location, serene and comfortable. Every amenity you could want or need.

As for cleanliness - Five Stars. Never stayed in a cleaner hotel, lodge, B&B. They are providing extra cleaning due to COVID-19, and it's certainly evident.

We hope to return in the Fall. I can't imagine a more beautiful place to stay in the Smokey's.

I’ve been to the Sevierville area before, but this was our first time staying at Berry Springs lodge; my boyfriend and I loved it! The mountainous view from our room was beautiful and I loved the fact that they had their own walking trail and even provided walking sticks.
Our room was spotless when we arrived and felt very cozy; they even had a Christmas tree lit in the room and left chocolates in the room for us.
Breakfast each morning was delicious. I was very appreciative of the staff because they made accommodations for my gluten-free diet and made me gluten-free French toast and waffles. You couldn’t even tell the items were gluten-free.
One could tell that the employees/owners put a lot of work into the details of the lodge. They were Christmas stockings, trees, and snowmen everywhere. It truly started to feel like Christmas when we arrived at the lodge.
We hope to return another time, in either the summer or fall, and enjoy some more of the outdoor activities. Thank you for a great stay!

My husband and I visited this area for the first time. We chose Berry Springs for the location, intimate size, and it’s adults only. Our room was clean, spacious and we had our own personal hot tub on our private deck, overlooking the beautiful green valley. The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive to our personal requests. Breakfast served every morning was excellent. The grounds were gorgeous with many activities to use free of charge, including biking, fishing, basketball, billiards, use of the fire pit, and full kitchen in the screened gazebo. It felt like our home away from home. Highly recommend this resort for a couple, or a small adult group retreat.

Berry Springs is an adorable B&B magically tucked into a tiny nook between the Smokey mountains, Dollywood and the Pidgeon Forge Tourist strip. Rate are very reasonable for how clean comfortable and cozy the Inn is. A real, freshly prepared breakfast is in included daily, and includes southern treats like Tennessee scramble, cheesy grits and stuffed French toast. Room choices are ample, we opted for king room facing the sunrise, complete with a switch-on fire place, and private deck with a jacuzzi which was just divine. We recommend the place highly, and the staff couldn’t be nice. Thanks Berry Springs!

We just returned home from another great stay at Berry Springs! Our short getaway was just what we needed after being at home for so long due to Covid. We felt that Patrick and Sue and Melissa have done an outstanding job of making their guests feel comfortable during this time, and that the Lodge was spotless as usual.

We highly recommend Berry Springs and will definitely be back this year!

Securing your bikes should not be a problem. This is an extremely safe and secure area. You should be able to secure with chain and lock on the premises and never worry about anyone bothering your bikes. The lodge is at the end of a very long drive and the only people here are adult guests and the owners. We seldom ever lock the door to our room.

Hi there! How far away are you from pigeon falls, Dollywood & Gatlinburg are you? Joan zeekgas@gmail
Answer from Michael T
Shelby, North Carolina553 contributions54 helpful votes
Very close. Dollywood is off Veterans Blvd which is one of the streets you travel to Berry Springs. 10-12 minutes away but far enough that you don't hear any noise. Same for Pigeon Forge, 10 - 12 minutes tops. Collier Dr is an easy access to Pigeon Forge from Veterans Blvd. Gatlinburg is about 15-20 minutes depending upon traffic. Also Veterans Blvd is a 5 lane highway between Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. I think the locals use it to avoid the traffic congestion. Hope this is helpful.
