Spent a night at Wilderness at the Smokies with my Family on our way to a Thanksgiving week in Pigeon Forge. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo with 3 families. Each room had their own bathroom. The room included a kitchenette. It was very clean and reasonable. The indoor waterpark is smaller. There is the traditional water sprayer and... More

My family (with an 8 1/2 year old son) has been to the Wilderness 3 times this year. We had no issues during any part of our stay. In February, the indoor waterpark was open and was warm. In May, the indoor and outdoor waterparks were open and in September the indoor and one of the outdoor parks was open.... More

I reserved a room for my family of five. Nowhere on the website does it say that we would have to spend 5 hours in a meeting trying to get us to become members to the resort. We wasted almost a full day on this meeting only to discover that this resort is a waste of money for many people.... More

We just finished a 4 night stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a wonderful time. We had a room with a bunk bed in the main building on the 4th floor. We were very concerned about bed bugs (in light of all of the other reviews) but checked each bed before bringing our things into the room and all... More

My family has visited several times this year, we always hit the arcade asap and look for Ricky who works in there. Every time we are treated with immense kindness and politeness by him. Hes so helpful, during our stay. Even has great suggestions for things to do around town. Most importantly hes so great to my kids! This always... More

We made the mistake of going in November, too cold for us. The pool was suppose to be 85 degree but more like the air is that, not the water. Both our kids lips turn blue after being in the pool. The staff are ok, not as friendly as they can be. The front desk staff can smile a little... More

Currently spending Thanksgiving week at Wilderness at the Smokies Resort. Great rooms, water park, and arcade area but... Wifi constantly dropped out so accessing internet was impossible. Multiple arcade games were not working, including some bowling lanes. Sheets did not appear changed upon arrival. We were here about one year ago and none of these issues were observed. Have some... We checked in on a Sunday evening to find urine all around the toilet and hair in the sink. I tried calling the front desk from the room and got no answer. I stopped by the front desk to ask for the bathroom to be cleaned and let them no that nobody had answered the phone. There was no apology... More

Checked in only to discover that there was no bed in the room. There was something in the wall behind a closet door that had no support, but it wasn't a bed. Only option for our adult daughter was a sleeper sofa. She's pregnant. Those things are terrible anyway. Bathroom was so small you had to step into the kitchen... More

We wish to thank you for your comments. We noticed that someone from group sales did reach out to you regarding your accommodations. When organizers of large convention groups block rooms for their attendees the room descriptions do not always get distributed. Our website has pictures and descriptions of all our rooms but, unless you go into a multi-room unit,... More

This is an awesome hotel to stay at & most of the hotels are about the same price range all the way to Gatlinburg. Except you get an awesome water park included in this. The only complaint I have, is the maid was definitely slacking... the fridgerator had Hawaiian punch in it and a jar of jelly. Also, there was... More
