room was very clean, staff was very friendly, pool was nice, only issue was the breakfast. we budgeted that in our 3 night stay so we had to spend a little extra for breakfast every morning for 4 of us.
Traveling alone with my dog I am particular about where I stay and chose this Comfort Inn because of the reviews. Not only was it clean and conveniently located to my daughter's new house, the staff was friendly and I had easy access to take my dog outside. I was in the room closest to the outside door which made it easy. She is used to hotels but didn't have to ride elevators nor was she spooked by the neighbors next door. There were plenty of restaurants to chose from as well. I personally appreciated the walking track next door, and even though it said no pets on the track (part of a health club facility) the hotel reassured me they had a membership and to pick up my dog's poop, which I would do anyway! The internet was also decent which can be problematic, and the bed was comfortable as well. One of my biggest pleasant surprises was a decent shower! The shower head was great, and that was the best water pressure I think I've ever had at a hotel! Because of Covid restrictions, there was a sack breakfast that did have a Jimmy Dean sandwich as well as a granola bar and chocolate muffin to pick up at the front desk. They did have their coffee and juice machines in operation. The price was fair, although the $25 a night charge for the dog was more than I usually pay. Overall I was very pleased with my stay and do recommend this hotel.…
We found this motel was clean. The staff was friendly. It’s also pet friendly. Our only issue was the breakfast was a sack breakfast. Not very good. I assume this will change when local regulations change. I would recommend this motel. I would recommend this motel.
hot breakfast NOT included. breakfast in a bag included one muffin, one small applesauce, and one breakfast bar. However, nice bed and an appropriate distance from expressway for a quiet overnight experience.
Front desk employee for morning check out was not wearing his face mask appropriately. The employee was wearing his mask on his chin. Considering he was dealing with guests/handing out “grab and go” breakfast bags, this is very unsafe. This hotel definitely needs some updates/maintenance. The closet door was duct taped as an easy fix it appeared. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the bathroom. The heating/air unit in the room was pretty gross. Appeared it had not been cleaned (found this out when I looked at it) after waking up congested. For allergy sufferers, this is not good. The pool was decent, but the hot tub/jacuzzi had some green mold residue and could use a good deep clean. The grab and go breakfast was good; a muffin, applesauce and granola bar. Overall this stay was not of expected from a Comfort Inn. Would not stay here again.…
Staff was friendly. Stayed in Room 205. Left bolt on toilet seat was broken and allowed the seat to slide sideways. The sink faucet was like a shower head...makes the water bounce off your hand. Nightstand light bulb out. Breakfast was a grab 'n go with a muffin, granola bar, unsweetened applesauce cup, and a cheese stick. Ended up moving to a different hotel for remaining nights.
The room was clean and attractive, the services good. The desk staff were not overly friendly, but were competent. Due to Covid, the breakfast consisted of a grab and go bag containing applesauce, string cheese, a breakfast bar, and a single packaged pastry.
We had a family emergency in TN and booked a room for two nights. We left very early both mornings. I went to put on my earrings only to find my jewelry missing from my suitcase. Two of my three favorite rings and three pairs of earrings are gone. Two of the rings had sentimental value and now they are gone. I am heartsick. DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION.
The staff here was very pleasant. Room was very clean. No qualms. They took measures for COVID. Breakfast was a grab and go bag. Staff was very helpful. Set back from road next to a fitness center, where you could walk an outside track. A couple little strip malls close by that had food. Not hotel's fault, but people above us were pounding on the floor for over two hours. Sounded like a child. At 10 p.m. I went down to desk and they said they would act on it. We could hear them knock on the door above us. Well they continued for another half hour to 45 minutes. When we left at 7:45, they already started again. Inconsiderate. Also, young people laughing in our hallway and bouncing into the door. I complained again at checkout and gentleman said he would note it. Too bad, lovely hotel, but no rest for us!…
I was in need of a property that was close to the North Knoxville Medical Center where my wife was being treated. I booked the property online and had a good senior citizen rate of $80.00. I arrived at 16:00 and was greated by the current front deck manager Thomas. It was nice to have Mozart on the lobby sound system. Thomas is a classical music lover and an aspiring musician. The room appeared to have been recently refurbished. Everything was spotless with good lighting and proper outlets at the work space. There are several restaurants in the same business area as the hotel. Breakfast service had been reduced due to the current virus. Not knowing what to expect from the hospital ICU's department I asked Thomas if there was a hospital related rate that the hotel offered. He said yes so I booked two more nights. It was about $10.00 less than the senior citizen rate. I was concerned about cancellation fees if I didn't need the extra nights. He said not to worry about it. Unfortunatley my wife died the next morning so I went and signed off on the hospital paperwork and headed home to our mountain cabin in Cosby about 60 miles away. I check the billing a couple of days later and I was only charged for the one night I stayed. If you are in need of a property near the hospital this is the place to go. Thomas is a true asset to this property.…
