Deerfield Inn is reminiscent of the old style motor lodge but it is scrupulously clean, beds are comfortable and the management is the perfect example of small town hospitality. It is an excellent value and I can highly recommend it.

We stayed 1 night and we needed extra blankets and towels which were promptly provided by the friendly staff. There was a small breakfast provided in the lobby with fresh brewed coffee available. It was very very clean and we had no issues. The body products provided are minimal so I'd bring your own body wash, shampoo, and conditioner if there's more than 1 person staying in the room. If you get hungry or forgot anything, there's a nice and clean dollar general right next door you can walk to. Phone signal is poor in the area, but they provide free wifi. I highly recommend this place.

I should have realized cheap doesn’t usually equal quality. On one booking site Deerfield Inn was rated 8.8. But as I realized the next day all the good reviews are on the first page or two my poor review along with several others were placed towards the back. Believe me I will take a better look in the future! To begin we pulled up to the old mom and pops (outdated) looking place with maybe 25 to 30 rooms. We went into the lobby to check in, the clerk didn’t welcome us or crack a smile. We asked to see the room and she walked us down ( without saying a word) The room appeared clean and I was exhausted from driving 9 hrs so we took the room. We asked for extra pillows, which she never brought back to us. And asked what time breakfast started so we could head out early. She said 6 to 8 or 9am. At 10 to 15 min. after 6am we were packed and ready to go But the office and breakfast were locked up tight with the lights out! So we had to make time to find a place for breakfast. I found it interesting that on line it said only one room was still available, but it looked as though only 5 or 6 cars were in the parking lot. During the night I couldn’t sleep and had to keep looking out the window because I heard people outside. Our car was right in front of our door and it sounded like people were coming and going all night. The next morning I noticed substances on the blanket.Yuck.

Booked this through booking.com... it was $40 per night cheaper than the rest. The reviews were good so I gave it a try, and I’m glad I did. The room was very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and nice. Only complaints are I would’ve preferred firmer pillows (but that’s just a personal preference) and since the refrigerator wasn’t running when we arrived, it had a bad smell to it. But those are small things to me and since I saved $40 I was ok with it. Front desk staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed a Mon nite w grandson. Felt safe. Nothing much across street & $ General next door. Got cheap price on an online booking site & was pleasantly surprised. Staff was cordial, not over friendly. Room was clean, sheets clean. Furnishings old like in pics & TV may have been an older model but I was just glad the room was not falling apart, filthy for my grandson's sake. Bath inviting & seemed clean, no hairs lying around etc. When I got up during nite to go to bathroom, I didn't see any bugs when I turned in the light. That's always a plus! Breakfast was simple coffee, yogurt, cereal. But for a decent place to lay ur head for the $ and simple brkfast to get u on the road, it was good.
