From beginning to end, we enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly and kind, especially Paula at front desk and Judy and Tina at breakfast service. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The shower was great! We enjoyed using the hottub. The pool looked fun but the water was a bit too chilly for us. Both inside and outside of the hotel were clean and well kept. We missed not having Youtube on the TV, but that is the only thing we were disappointed in. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

As a professional entertainer, I am always looking for "that" place to just unwind, and they always say if you find somewhere to stay-cation in the place you already live? It's the right place. From top to bottom, I was floored, Immediately greeted with a kind & welcoming demeanor by the front desk, a room that felt like it should cost way more than it was (which was very reasonable). At some places, you almost feel like you are a bother by checking in and that was not the case here at all. The food was great, room service was johnny on the spot with everything I needed, and anything elseI needed to do was within walking distance (especially the bars, and it definitely helped to not have to drive back to the hotel haha). YES, give them your business...
YES, get over yourself over seemingly petty stuff. DO your research on a place thoroughly before coming onto OUR turf and besmirching the hard working efforts of the very staff you seek to admonish with your spoiled & entitled complaints. It costs ZERO dollars to be quiet, and take things up with places privately. My two cents 8-)

First the place was decorated perfectly for Christmas. The staff is always just so willing to assist you In whatever you need. They are always smiling and so approachable. The breakfast was hot. I will say the coffee bar is very limited as far as they only have a nonflavored creamer and that's it. Also to note there is no jelly at all! The rooms are spacious but the rooms are NOT sound proof as they describe them to be. So if you are in a room next to someone with a pet YES you will hear it every single time it barks even if it barks all night long!!! However if you have a well behaved furbaby this is the perfect hotel for you! It has a designated area for your pet to relieve themselves and you can easily take your baby for a walk! Also the rooms are so very clean and OMG The showers are freaking amazing with water pressure I have NEVER experienced before but want to now have in my own home!! I recommend this hotel over all as noted the only draw back was the coffee bar and Condiments for breakfast. I will book another stay here and tell all my friends!

clean room, overpriced, shower head and water pressure nice, bathroom is small and needs updated/fixed, breakfast is -meh, rooms have zero sound proofing- could hear the lobby music from our room with the door closed, cleaning staff were extremely loud in the morning to the point it sounded like they were in the room with us, stayed an extra night so we would not have to move hotels— charged a much higher price for the second night even though I had booked through their hotel site. They also refunded and then recharged me for the first night at a higher price- super shady. The only parts of the hotel that are nicer than cheaper hotels is the lobby and maybe the pool area. The pool is also much smaller than anticipated. We didn’t actually use the pool area but I like the idea that is open 24hrs a day. I think that is one of the biggest things they have going over other hotels. That brings in a lot of families with loud children and dogs (we had a dog with us too). I think quiet hours were observed though/ not sure- I used earplugs to sleep- it might be a good idea to bring them. They ran out of certain foods at breakfast and did not seem concerned with trying to replenish them. The waffle area was a huge mess and the person “cleaning” tables on had a rag- no spray, no bucket. I’m not sure if the rag was even wet.

My husband and I typically stay at IHG locations but when I saw the Ramsey online I decided to book it. My husband is big on having a continental breakfast and this advertised a 32 item menu so he was excited to try it. It looked nothing like the pictures and the bar area where the food was stayed filthy the entire time. There were people working but they did not appear to be in a hurry to maintain the atmosphere. There was only one waffle maker and the line was so long, my husband finally gave up. The food itself was subpar and we ended up going somewhere else. The major complaint we had was that we were not able to check into our room until 5:47pm which I have never experienced at any other hotel in my life. The pool area was nice but the “heated” pool was not warm at all and the movie they play is not visible to watch, you can only hear it. The hallways were very dark and so were the rooms. Other than that the room itself was nice and the bed was comfortable and the water pressure was amazing! The staff were moderately friendly, not exceptional however and the bar they offer nightly from 6-10 is only open when they choose which was disappointing for my husband. We were placed on the very end of the first floor hall which was fine but the internet was so bad I was not able to work from it, instead having to use my hotspot. Overall the hotel was way overpriced for the experience we had and we will not stay at this hotel in the future.

For what I expected during check in with the lobby and front desk staff, I was highly disappointed in the stay. Our room was plain and outdated. Our shower head leaked the entire time and had mold growing in the tub area. The fridge was so loud and noisy. Breakfast was absolutely packed, I couldn’t eat anything as I have a black pepper allergy and the eggs and other “hot foods” were caked in black pepper. Staff members advised me to eat something else….the cereal bowls were never available and the waffle makers were either packed with other guests or out of batter/not working. We didn’t even try breakfast the rest of our stay and just spent money elsewhere on good food. The pool/hot tub is 24 hours and there was always people crowding both no matter the time. We stopped at the bar for a drink, got two mixed drinks for $32 AND THEN were told it was cash only as the credit card machine was broken and if we needed cash the ATM around the corner was available ($3 fee). Luckily we had cash on us but feel like this should have been announced upon us sitting down as the bar was not busy at all, we were also overcharged for drinks in our opinion. Plant on walking a lot too! There’s only one set of elevators to get you to the floors as there are no doors with accessible stairs from the other entrances. The front desk told me to reach out to Expedia as we booked through a third party instead of even offering to solve our issues. Will not stay here again!! So much wasted money.

Hotel was in a great location with plenty of parking considering parking in pigeon. Forge is very difficult. However, this really is not a hotel for couples. Kids running up and down the hall all night long. We had to call down two nights to the front desk on our cell phones because the room next-door at midnight had kids screaming for hours then people running up and down the hallways there’s no one in the hotel that monitors this. I think the reason for this is the 24 hour pool, which is probably the reason why kids are running loose all night. One of the nights there was a bad rain storm and our window was leaking and water came in, but it was our last night so we didn’t do anything about it. Hard to get housekeeping to get to your room. The first night we were there the bar was closed. A matter of fact it was only open on Saturday night. Additionally, we only ate the breakfast one day and then went out again very family oriented breakfast cheap food with Long lines. Even the 24 hour coffee had run out at certain times I would not stay at this hotel again.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re happy to hear that you appreciated our convenient location and ample parking—Pigeon Forge can certainly be a tricky place to park. We’re truly sorry that your stay wasn’t as peaceful as you had hoped. While we love being a family-friendly hotel, we understand that a quieter atmosphere is important for couples looking to relax. Your feedback about noise, housekeeping, and breakfast is very valuable, and we will certainly take it into consideration as we continue to improve. We appreciate you giving us a try and hope that if you visit Pigeon Forge. Jeannie Lea

The first night wasn’t what we expected for an upscale hotel. There wasn’t a fitted sheet on one of the beds. There were Q-tips on the floor at the head of the bed from a previous visitor and they were still there after they came and put the rest of the linens on the bed. The bathroom floor had dirt and hair in the corners and there were particles of paper and trash on the shower floor and drain. I addressed the issue with the desk supervisor and they asked housekeeping to come and make the bed correctly with all the linens. The fitted sheet was put on the mattress inside out which they had corrected by housekeeping. The only thing management did to rectify the issue was have housekeeping do VIP cleaning each day for the rest of our stay which didn’t mean anything. There was still dirt and hair on the floor. A dispenser is provided and has body wash, shampoo and conditioner in them, the conditioner was empty and never replenished. The breakfast was not good. The eggs were small rubbery pieces and only pork meat options. The rest of the options were all carbohydrates and no other protein The hotel website, as well as an employee stated the pool and hot tub are open 24 hours but there is a big misleading sign on the gate saying pool and hot tub are open 9:00 AM-12:00 midnight. I would like to know why there is sign with posted hours if it is open 24 hours. We could have stayed at a different hotel and been out less money and probably had about the same equivalent experience.

Expected more. Check in was nice Ree Ree was very nice. But as the trip progressed I was disappointed. As an adult, I was upset to see there are no rules for the spa area for kids to need to be supervised. Kids were splashing and running amuck. Shower pressure is amazing- but basically the highlight of the stay. I needed to print 2 tickets for an attraction and could hear the lady at the desk make remarks about printing things. When I enquired about how often the room was cleaned because we expected trash removed and new towels, I was greeted by very rude guest services at the desk. I was told it’s every other day unless otherwise requested. I was never told this was the case. I was given 2 clean towels but the lady at the desk- I believe Janet, rolled her eyes when I asked if it was every other day then. The lady in charge of the daily breakfast is an absolute delight. Because this hotel is connected to a convention center I had higher expectations for the room quality and how I would be treated.

Our negative experience at The Ramsey Hotel. We recently stayed at The Ramsey hotel and I don’t think we’ll be going back. We booked a 2 queen room and upon check in the front desk staff “upgraded” us to a King Bedroom to give us more room for our sons pack n play. My husband said the front desk employee asked her manager which room to put us in and she told her which one. He was also told they were doing renovations on the 5th floor but our room would now be on the 2nd. - The day after checking in we stopped by the room to let our son take a nap. They were ripping out an entire bathroom 2 doors down. Beating and banging. When I went to grab some lunch I stopped by the front desk to ask when they would be done with the construction on our hallway because we have a young child who needs to be able to sleep. The employee said “ you mean the 5th floor?” I said no , the 2nd floor and gave her my room number again. She said “they’re not doing construction on the 2nd floor.” Ummmmm. I can promise you they are. She went around a corner and asked someone, I assume her manager and she told her “yeah they’re doing all the handicap bathrooms.” The employee seemed like she hadn’t been told that before now. That’s a reflection of management if staff isn’t informed properly. Walking back to the room there’s drop cloths and supplies in the hallway and a few times one of the construction workers was laying in the floor of the hall. This morning they had the entire hallway blocked with supplies. - When we went to check out we were asked how our stay was. I said it was ok. The employee asked why that was. I let her know and she said “they’re not doing construction on the 2nd floor.” I said, I promise you they are. She did apologize for how our stay went, gave us the standard $25 off your next stay coupon advertised on the room key and said have a good day. - I understand hotels need to have construction done but be upfront with guests about that before they even book. If you go to their website to book it says nothing about under construction or else we would’ve stayed somewhere else to begin with. Also, make sure your staff knows what’s going on in the hotel. It’s completely unnecessary for me as a guest to feel like the staff thinks I’m lying about construction that I saw and heard for myself. Now I can see why there were only 3 other cars in the parking lot.
