Spent 4 days 3 nights at the DreamMore Resort to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, my sons 3rd birthday and my 28th birthday. It was the best vacation we could have asked for. The hospitality is above and beyond. The park and resort are well kept. Food is great. Outdoor pool was supposed to be heated but was chilly. However we still enjoyed the outdoor pool as well as the indoor pool. Hot tub was so relaxing and warm. Beautiful views from the resort. The theme park has a little of everything for all ages. Dolly’s souvenirs are so cute! I bought several shirts and souvenirs for friends and family. Definitely recommend getting your picture taken at the park in front of the main dollywood sign. They took the best photo of our little family. The resort valet took our bags to our room for us and every person we interacted with at the resort was very nice and helpful. The only thing we did not like was that we couldn’t have our child with us in the hot tub area and i felt that was not acceptable due to this being a family resort. So if you have children, be prepared to not be able to enjoy the hot tub as they aren’t allowed in that area. There are smoking areas around the resort also however they could use a few closer ones so people don’t have to walk forever to get to a smoking area in the resort as well as the theme park. Overall we did enjoy ourselves and would love to experience it all again someday. If you are looking for a yearly vacay or to celebrate an event, you should check out dollywood and get a vacation package. it includes everything! We even got to skip the lines at the theme park for rides!! The Titanic museum was also so much fun. The area has tons of food and activity options so you won’t be bored ever! Thanks Dolly for the wonderful experience!!!!

My partner and I had a wonderful expierence all around. We tried to do as much around the resort as we could, but one person really stuck out during our visit and I want to give her the credit that she is due. Abigail really went above and beyond for her services provided in the food and beverage areas. She has a loud and upbeat personality that is a force to be reckoned with. I was really appreciative of her services. After a long 6 months of work and negativity, Abby really helped us disconnect. We hope to see her again at the resort on our next visit.

Wow, what has happened to Song & Hearth? In the past few years, the special holiday brunches have been top notch. Unfortunately, our Easter brunch was a complete fail from start to finish. Where do we begin? Due to COVID, some changes have been made, understandably, to limit the buffet experience. For starters, we were served a pitiful “Charcuterie Board with Assorted Cured Meats and Artisan Cheeses”. For a party of 3, we received 3 midget pickles, some dry salami, and 3 thin cheese triangles. We should have seen them as an indication of what was to come and run while we had the chance. While the cheese board was laughable, we thought this would be the fluke of the meal and thought we would give a fair chance. The carving station consisted of turkey, ham, prime rib, and salmon. Sounds great right? No. Every single meat was cold. I assume the food had been sitting out for several hours because there was certainly no crowd of people at the restaurant. I now understand why. The turkey and ham were so dry and cold, both were inedible. The prime rib, also cold, was essentially a cold, bloody slab of fat. Someone is going to get sick from old, cold meats. The sides were served family style, and too, were cold and old. Waxy cold green beans, dried mashed potatoes, and macaroni-and-cheese so old it could have been used as brick doorstop. When the waitress inquired at the end of our meal if we enjoyed our meal, we couldn’t pretend the meal was anywhere near acceptable. I’m sure she noticed our plates were still full and the “meats” we had on our plate were hardly touched. She notified the manager and were graced with his poor excuses for his restaurant quality and seemed upset that someone would complain. Of course, the “due to COVID...” line was played and he alluded several times that we should have told him earlier that all the food was cold so he could “bring out some hot fresh food”. No sir, for the price paid, the diner shouldn’t have to ask for fresh food. It should be provided from the start. We are all very aware of the changes necessary due to COVID, but this cannot be used as an excuse for your poor performance. As a fellow manager myself, don’t argue with the customer when your know your product is poor. Sorry, Bryan. We weren’t the only party complaining either. Upon arrival, another party was complaining to another manager about how bad their meal was too. Although, she did take them outside on the porch to hear their complaints; away from the other suckers arriving and expecting a quality meal for $50 per person! Lessons learned, we will never return to Song & Hearth for any future holiday meals. Personally, I know the food management at DreamMore has gone through numerous changes in the few years since opening and it shows. Management and chefs cannot be retained at DreamMore and I sadly understand why. To the “director”Shane, you need some help. In the meantime, avoid Song & Hearth.

My family and I are enormous Dolly Parton fans. Her great, unmatched talent as a singer/songwriter, her kind, warm hearted and sparkling personality and her extremely generous philanthropic activities are but a few of the reasons she is adored and loved by the public at large and ourselves. Anything she puts her time and efforts into and her name on is golden in our eyes and worthy of our time and attention. ... Unfortunately, DreamMore Resort in Pigeon Forge is the exception to that rule. We were one of the first families to stay at the resort when it opened in 2015. Everything about the resort would make Ms. Parton proud. Great location, comfortable home away from home atmosphere, with delicious food. Although most of the staff were exemplary some were neither friendly nor attentive to the few serious issues with our room, but we excused their behavior as possibly just being overwhelmed, (it was a very busy time for them all). ... On this day, I recently came across two complimentary passes to the Song and Hearth Restaurant. On the cards was the comment " Be our guest in Song and Hearth for a complimentary breakfast buffet & beverage. Adult or Child". There were no expiration dates so I assumed we would still be able to use them this fall when we vacation in Pigeon Forge again and most especially revisit the grounds at the Resort to see if we might reconsider ever staying there again. I called the front desk and asked. I spoke with Pam who spoke with the manager, (I am told Rachel was on working that day), and I was told "No". We as a family travel to Pigeon Forge every year and at that moment it reminded me of why we have always chosen disappointingly enough to stay anywhere but DreamMore, bad customer service. We experienced it once before, and 5 years later, sadly enough it would seems nothing has changed with them. So, my family and I will venture elsewhere. Regardless, ... we will always love you Dolly.

Where to begin... we had an amazing time at dream more. We stayed in the junior suite. It was nice and super clean. We arrived early and David helped to expedite our room from the long drive we took to get to Tennessee. We consistently saw staff members walking around and cleaning. Everyone staying at the hotel was social distancing and wearing their masks which was great. The trolley to get to Dollywood was excellent with many buses running continuously. We never waited more then 3 min for a trolley to pick us up. Both pools were clean and you have to make a reservation for the indoor pool. The arcade was super clean and had purell wipes available if you wanted to wipe anything down along with hand sanitizer. Room service food was great and quick, never waited more then 20 min for our food. The pizza from dm pantry was good, along with the food from the lounge. Song and hearth was ok in my opinion for dinner. The complimentary s’mores were so much fun to do at night. You have to make a reservation for that but can do it a day ahead of time. We didn’t use the fitness room, but it looked nice and clean. All the staff that we encountered were beyond welcoming and nice. We felt very at ease here and felt that all the appropriate measures were being taken with covid. We had such a great time that we extended our stay thanks to Philip being able to find us another room so we could stay, and also became Passholder’s. The only cons with our stay would be the shower temperature is very temperamental, the beds and pillows are very hard, and our room was by the elevator which was very loud. We can’t wait to return!
