The Inn at Christmas Place captivates guests with its perpetual yuletide charm, earning accolades for its spotless rooms and public spaces adorned with meticulous decorations. Patrons are delighted by the extensive amenities, which include a sumptuous breakfast and a heartwarming atmosphere.
While the Christmas-themed rooms are generally celebrated for their cleanliness and comfort, a few visitors have mentioned occasional odors and amenity issues. Nestled near attractions like Dollywood, the hotel's prime location and exceptional service contribute to its reputation for providing excellent value, despite the occasional remark about pricing.

Hotel's Favorite
Second summer in a row, staying here--it's better than Disney! CLEAN, friendly, loving experience! They have an indoor pool and a FUN & SPACIOUS outdoor pool, with a water slide! In the morning, Santa is available for photos and visits, all complementary (you have to take your own photo). The entire hotel is decorated with Christmas decor. They have a free scavenger hunt--a must do! Make sure to check out every floor and stairwell --all filled with Christmas decor 🎄 SCRUMPTIOUS breakfast -- omelet station, fresh, hot food that they rotate everyday (we stayed four nights). They have delicious pastries, bread for toasting, waffle irons, cold cereal and beverage buffet. Every evening, the front desk has fresh cookies for every patron as well as lemonade. Santa sings and plays instruments on select evenings. Our room was spacious and had a large Christmas tree in it! The entire room had Christmas decor 🎄Each day, our housekeeper organized my daughter's stuffies on her bed, coupled with lots of candy kisses 💕 My daughter always looked forward to see how her stuffies were going to be arranged 💕 As soon as you enter the lobby, you will be treated like family. Your stay will definitely be blessed!

This was my first time along with my mom and we loved our stay!!! My mom and I have been wanting to stay here for quite some time since we frequent the Pigeon Forge area from time to time. Kelly in Guest Services, along with another young lady that assisted with our check in when we got there provided us exceptional service. Months prior to our trip my mom had the opportunity of working with Kelly over the phone to get our reservations for our stay booked. My mom and I wouldn't mind staying at the hotel again. They did have a good breakfast and set up each morning, and a couple of different interactive things during they day which was a Santa meet and greet in the morning and a Concert with Santa in the early evening around 5pm in the courtyard weather permitting. With breakfast being served, they were very good with keeping COVID-19 protocols still, as well as one family per elevator as well. Although my mom and I did not utilize the pool, they do have a pool (both an indoor pool and an outdoor pool), but we did utilize the fitness center they had, and they did have disinfectant wipes to use to wipe off the equipment that they had. My mom and i were the only two in the fitness center on one particular day we utilized it which made it nice. We also loved how the hotel was decorated as well. My mom and I had a room right off from where we checked in and it was really nice. We did hear their indoor bell tower clock go off every hour, on the hour. I thought it was going to continue all night, however it does stay off for the evening at a certain time so that it wouldn't bother guests as they sleep.

We finally ended up staying here on our trip to Pigeon Forge after hearing rave reviews from relatives for years. I'm so glad we finally did! The halls are completely decked with Christmas decor. It's everywhere from the front lobby to the rooms themselves. Speaking of the rooms, the beds were extremely comfortable - probably one of the best hotel-room beds I've ever slept in. We did take advantage of the free breakfast. There was an omelet station, and they did offer Krispy Kreme donuts, but other than that it was a pretty standard hotel breakfast. We loved the cider and cookies every night.
We never had issues finding parking in the hotel lot and loved that the location was right in the middle of all the action happening in Pigeon Forge. It rained most of our trip, but we would have been able to walk to quite a bit to different restaurants and attractions nearby. We usually stay in a cabin when we visit the area, so it was nice to try something different. Definitely pros and cons for a cabin vs. hotel, but this was a really fun place to stay with a location that can't be beat.

I waivered between a 4 and a 5 on this one (if this was a scale of 1-10, would be a 9).
Ultimately, it came down to the staff. The folks who work at this hotel are an outstanding group and really make staying at this place a pleasure. In particular, they did great even though the hotel was packed the first night (jeep convention) and, of course, the challenges that the pandemic has brought to all of us. The décor is a lot of fun, and also makes staying at this place special. When I requested a baggage cart, they sent a doorman out to help us load our luggage and take it to our room (very nice after 8 hours on the road!). We had an issue with our fridge not working, and it was replaced 15 minutes after I called to report it. The included breakfast is really nice (loved the made to order omelets and biscuits/gravy!). During the pandemic, the breakfast food is mostly served by staff in a covid safe manner. The outdoor seating areas are very nice, as are the pools and whirlpool. As others have noted, the place is a bit dated, in particular our room's A/C was older (did a good job cooling, but not dehumidifying). The replacement fridge was old like the one they replaced, and was missing the door hardware that hold beverages. However, the beds were very comfortable and every thing was nice and clean. Overall, we were very pleased and would love to stay there again someday. I doubt there is any place better in Pigeon Forge.

We appreciate your response! We are certainly working to ensure our hotel stays up to date and we are constantly making improvements. We just replaced our alarm clocks recently to include more plug adapters. We are working to replace carpet for the 2nd time in 14 years. New drapes were added the year before last and we are currently replace all of the AC units in the rooms. It is important that both our staff and our property provide a friendly and fresh welcome to our guests. We hope to see you again :)

We stayed here for four nights and really liked the rooms and the breakfast was good except for totally burnt sausage patties every single morning. We would consider returning but needing a good internet connection this may be out, Their WIFI was the worst I've seen in hundreds of hotels and when I asked the desk twice they just shrugged their shoulders. Many business travelers need their internet and the only way to get it is turn off the wifi and go out to the parking lot. not at all handy

We appreciate your feedback and we are sorry to hear you were having difficulty with the internet. After speaking with our managers about it and our IT specialist, it seems that we did in fact work to help you get connected. Our manager called our internet provider directly to verify that there were no issues with our connection and he offered you the number to speak with someone directly to help you trouble shoot on your device. We do occasionally run into guests that have trouble connecting their devices, but that is something we can only provide limited help with as it is not a connection issue from our internet provider. We do have a business center for our guests that need to get work done and are unable to do so on their personal devices. Again, we are sorry you had trouble and that we were unable to give you a satisfactory result.

Just stayed at the Inn and we were underwhelmed by our experience. The property can use a refresh all over, the room we were in was their King mini suite and a feeling of more cleanliness was needed. Many have felt that the breakfast buffet was a great experience however the food served was just average, the choices where to eat were either inside a room that looked like a large conference room, the better choice is to eat on their adjacent outside patio. Of course the kids love the inn. In the area there are mostly more budget oriented hotel/motel so if you look for more of a deluxe hotel experience those choices are limited. Most of the rooms face the main road as do many of the properties so if you are noise sensitive something to consider.
Overall this was an average experience so make your hotel choices wisely.

We are pretty sad to read this review. Our property is 14 years old, however, we are constantly updating and improving all over the Inn. There are many hotels in the area but we have always managed to fall somewhere in the top 5. Our goal is to continue to provide outstanding service, unique experiences, and beautiful decor at an affordable price. We are not the most budget friendly nor are we priced as a deluxe 5 star property. If you felt your room was unclean in any way we would have taken care of it right away if given the chance. We have a few options for breakfast dining-- as you mentioned the room across the hall, our patio, or our veranda. We apologize that we were unable to meet your expectations.

We stayed her for our daughters birthday. It was our first time staying here. The rooms are decorated with Christmas décor, 2 queen beds, private balcony, you have a little area for the microwave, frig and cabinet storage. The beds were ok not that comfortable for me, it felt like I was sleeping downhill. There was a slight musty smell in our room when you first opened the door, not sure what it was. The bathroom was very spacious. My only complaint with the bathroom was the was the door opened, it opened towards the commode almost right into it. The shower was oversized and the water pressure was great. Breakfast was so good, fresh made to order omelets and more. Right now you have to make an appointment time for breakfast due to COVID and only letting 10 people at a time to get food. The indoor pool was fairly warm. Hot tub was great. The outdoor pool looked really nice but was too cold to enjoy. Each floor is decorated in a different theme, it was nice to walk around and look at it all. Santa visits everyday downstairs from 8am-10am and you get evening cookies at 8pm. I would stay here again

A birthday getaway! We hope your daughter felt incredibly celebrated. It sounds like you all enjoyed your stay, and you noted a few things that we will certainly work to improve. In the future should you have ANY issues with your room upon check-in please let the front desk know immediately and we can work to fix the issues. We do have inspectors that check every room before it is released, but not everyone catches the same scents :) we do have ways to fix this though. We hope to see you again on your next visit to Pigeon Forge.

This was our first time staying here and we had an amazing time! The hotel is absolutely beautiful! My 5 year old son loved story time with Santa and decorating cookies. He loved Tinsel too! 😊 The room was great, very clean, we loved the decorations and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of counter space in the bathroom. My son enjoyed the Hersey kisses that our housekeeper, Fay, left on the bed and she arranged his stuffed animals, which he enjoyed. Great view from the balcony! The pool area was a hit with my son, especially the water slide! He was sad to leave, we will definitely return!!

This had been the worst experience ever since we started going in 2007. First we get there at around 3 and they tell us room won't be ready until 430. I look over to find the desk full of keys for all the others who are checking in, well ok. Go to dinner and come back and I'm put on 4th floor very very far from elevator, granted I requested a room on 2nd floor and close to the elevator and a courtyard view. I just had heart surgery and a very bad back and my walking is limited, I tried to explain this to the extremely rude man at the front desk but he did not care one bit, luckily my mom agreed to switch me rooms even though they got thier room a little before 3, it was still really hard for me to walk that way all the time. They had one doorman the whole week and you could usually find him just standing at the front desk talking The lemonade was always out, the cookies at night was burnt, our phone never did work in the room which they offered to send maintenance but who wanted to wait around for that. There is no more music at the pool and housekeeping forgot us 2x. It got annoying to call them up to ask to get room cleaned and then we got the death stare from her when she knocked on our door. The only happy and nice employee we ran into was the man who made the omelets and the lady cleaning the breakfast tables off, the rest need retrained in customer service. I did speak with GM and she did fix the problem of having to change rooms the last two days and she was nice. But all in all it went up in price and down in service. And it saddens me that you have lost a long time customer who has spent ALOT of money there over the years but I'm going to go elsewhere and spend my hard earned money at these hotels that actually appreciate thier customer. And I do hope the owner see's this!!

It really is a shame to read that this one experience ruined your long history of good visits with us. Our manager did speak with you and do what we could to fix your concerns, but it sounds like there were too many things at that point to change your experience. Our check-in is not guaranteed until 4:00pm and if you saw other key packets ready there are many reasons for that. We do allow guests to preregister and this gives their rooms priority for being ready. We also have 23 different room types and it's very possible we had other room types ready (such as your mom's who you mentioned was ready before 3). We always do our best to accommodate special requests but we are aware sometimes those wishes can't be fulfilled, therefore, we never make promises. We apologize for any encounter that was less than friendly as we strive to create warm and inviting atmosphere with true southern hospitality. Again, we are sorry we failed to meet expectations and we wish you well on your future visits to other properties.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this hotel and will continue to stay with family as well as recommend it to friends and such. However, this last trip we were a little disappointed for a few reasons. We always love seeing the doormen at the front and they always are so welcoming and kind but this trip they were rarely seen. I don't need someone to open my door but, it's always nice to be able to chat with them walking in and out of the hotel. Also in front of the hotel, the trashcan was overflowing quite a few times. It was full when we left in the morning and was still that way when we returned mid-afternoon before dinner. Down at breakfast, the only had one person behind the hot bar serving food and we could tell she was getting stressed. They kept running out of plates and when she went to go get some, we heard another staff member tell her "don't worry I got it. I'm doing three jobs here and my own". I'm not sure if they were short-staffed around the holidays or what but we could tell it was slightly off from what we normally experience. Furthermore, when you enter your room, there is always cute little sign talking about the hotel and the stay, etc. but we noted the Ogle (the manager) was no longer listed. It simply read "from management and staff". This led up to believe that it's under new management and we feel that this is why things felt so different. For people who are just now staying here, I promise you'll have a great time and everything will seem fine, but for those who have been coming for years, it felt very off and we were slightly sad about it. However, we will still be coming back and hope that if there is new management, that it's just going to take some time to work out the kinks.

We appreciate your review and pointing out some areas where we fell short. I would like to first let you know that the hotel is still being run by the same management team minus one. We do have a new general manager, but she is not new to the hotel, she has in fact been running our day to day operations for a number of years. We understand your disappointment with our bellmen not being available. we have been short on staff but we are working to fix their schedules so we can be sure there is someone at the door. We agree, the interaction with our guests going in and out is what is important. Your comments are important to us and we are addressing each of these areas you mentioned. Thank you for continuing to stay with us and recommend us. We hope your next trip will better meet your expectations :)

Our outdoor pool is currently under construction. It will not be complete until end of summer. We have not been able to put an opening date up yet.
We do offer breakfast for non guests who wish to purchase a ticket. Our breakfast is $17.99 for adults and 11.99 for children. Hours are 7-10am daily.
Tennessee weather is very unpredictable. It should be highs around 40ish lows in 30’s. There are plenty of attractions for children and adults.
We are still doing housekeeping service every day unless requested not to.
Yes. And its super good!
