My wife and I rented a deluxe cabin the first weekend in October. The cabin had two bedrooms with a queen bed in each bedroom along with a bath and a half. The cabin was very clean and it overlooked Patriot Park. We were disappointed that the path just below our cabin that lead into the Park was blocked off due to construction in the park. Actually both entrances to the park from the campground were blocked off. However, a temporary entrance to the park had been opened near the riverside of the campground so we were still able to walk to the Old Mill District. We were also disappointed to find that Sweet Mamma's Cafe (the little campground restaurant) was "closed for the season." We might have enjoyed a burger, a slice of pizza, or some ice cream from there, but it was a no go. The little cabin was nice and cozy and we built a fire each night in the stone fireplace on the oversized deck. Each staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. From our position, the campground was very quiet. We do not have an RV and are not campers, but as we walked through the campground it looked like some of the campsites were very close together. But there are a lot of trees that afforded plenty of shade. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the little cabin here in this KOA and highly recommend it.

This was a nice campground but we booked a pull through 4 or 5 months ago bc we were supposed to be pulling our 16 foot trailer. Bc of the weather, we instead brought our VW on a tow dolly. They didn't have any pull throughs available for us (although there were 3 not too far from us) so we had to unload the car, disconnect the tow dolly and back our 35 foot Georgetown into the slot. The slot was so slanted that we had to put 6 of those square plastic things under the front legs putting the bottom stair about 2 times too far from the ground. Of course our step stool was on the trailer we didn't bring so we had to go buy one. We paid a higher price for this space bc it was a 'premium' spot. However, it backs up to Veterans freeway (highway) whatever its' called and it is VERY LOUD. Traffic is constant. All day and all night. Its one thing to put up with that for one night as you are traveling through but it made it difficult to even chat with the people next to you. If we ever venture that way again we will find a quieter spot. We were in spot 178 for 4 nights.

We stayed in one of the new riverfront sites. The view was lovely but the grass hadn't come in yet and there was no patio so the site was a little muddy. The campground was surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of town which we enjoyed. The location is convenient to the old mill and a major bus stop. The new pool and lazy river were very nice and clean - the pool was never crowded. Shower house and bathrooms were beautiful and well kept - our teenagers preferred the shower house to using the camper. We also liked the option to text the front desk with questions or needs. We can't wait to visit this campground and the area again

Went for a quick trip. My neices father wanted to buy a car in the hot rod run car show. It was a trump ralley. No social distancing, no one wearing masks even though there were signs on the doors. I will never go there again!

My husband and I rented one of the small cabins for several days and we loved every minute! Our cabin was spotless and quiet and comfortable. We loved having a campfire every night. My husband was thrilled to have an excellent WiFi connection so he could keep up with the stock market. Our TV connection was perfect. The staff at this KOA is unusually friendly and helpful. The campground is close to shopping and entertainment. Great place to stay!
