We feature spacious RV Sites surrounded by two mountain creeks and lined by magnificent hardwoods. Convenient to Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, our R.V. Sites offer a refreshing alternative to those unreasonably cramped campsites we have all grown accustomed to at today’s RV Parks. Each RV Site has full hookups (30 or 50 amp) with a large concrete patio, picnic table and fire-ring. All Sites have Wi-Fi and cable TV. Each site is unique and has its own special qualities to offer. All campers have access to our natural areas along the creek.

Detailed Reviews
Perhaps the best RV park we've ever stayed in! The owners were able to accommodate us at the last minute due to an unexpected change in our plans. Our experience was pleasant from the outset when we were on the phone to make the reservation and to confirm the directions. Check in was contactless but well-organized. This is a small campground but the sites are spacious and organized to provide a sense of some privacy. They are impeccably maintained and the entire park is landscaped beautifully, with pretty seasonal decorations. Sites have paved patios with an attractive round table and 4 chairs.
The ONLY negative was driving at an excruciatingly slow crawl through the several miles of neon lights and amusement park type attractions packing both sides of the road in Sevierville to get to and from the site.
Do follow their driving directions.

ONCE AGAIN BEAUTIFUL.
This is our 2nd trip staying at up the creek and I still say it is the best campground. We brought both side of our family here with their camper and are completely amazed. We already have talked about making it a annual trip. Like last time totally clean sites, wifi working fast, maintenance are so friendly, our dog loves to ride on golf carts and when he stopped to ask how our stay is doing she tried to climb right in. We had a nice chat about the area and they do a great job here. He also gave me a heads up about a few areas we were wanting to visit this time around. Awesome people and place...dont miss out. The book fast, this year I called end of February for our August trip and had maybe 5 sites open for our length.

I have stayed in several RV Parks in the area and this one is by far the best in terms of beautiful grounds, well-laid out sites and facilities. The sites are full hookup and they border Waldon Creek on two sides. The middle sites even offer pull-through sites. The Pigeon Forge trolley even stops at the park if you want to save yourself the aggravation of the traffic on the parkway.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. We had a Deluxe Creekside with fireplace. The sites are level, have a nice concrete patio, table and fireplace and full hook ups. The grounds are very well maintained and the campground is very quiet and peaceful. We paid the lock fee and reserved this site as soon as reservations were being taken because we wanted this type of site after looking at pictures and videos of the campground. As I said the site and campground is wonderful. **The problem is, as someone else mentioned, is people walking through the back of your site. Almost everyday as we were relaxing on the patio, enjoying the view of the creek, someone would walk through with their dog. Letting them do their business 10 feet in front of where we were sitting. The campground has a dog park you can take your dog to, or keep them on your own site. It’s not something I want to look at while relaxing or eating dinner. It’s just basic campground etiquette, you don’t walk on other peoples campsites.

Been coming here for the last 5 years. The same weekend for the Florida / Georgia game and always enjoyed our stay. Booked our 2021 trip and picked our site only to find out later that we’d been moved to a different site because we didn’t pay the extra “lock” fee of $25. Its already expensive but now you don’t get your chosen site without paying more. Came with our usual 2 other couples and got out the corn hole around 6pm to have some fun and within minutes were reprimanded for being to loud. So….. we put that up. The next day, being rainy, we all gathered in our 10x20 tent to play some card games. Great fun until the camp host came over and told us we were again too loud. Too loud at 3:30 in the afternoon. No where in the camping packet did it say you weren’t allowed to have fun with other couples. Forget the fact that they blew leaves and ran a huge leaf vacuum everyday all day. I guess that’s different loud.
The day before we were to leave, all 6 of us gathered to cook breakfast in the 10x20 before heading out for a fun day with friends. Regular conversation while cooking breakfast and again…… one of our men was informed by the host that he’d received another complaint of being too loud. Apparently normal conversation is considered “too loud” who complains that neighbors talking is too loud?
By mid afternoon I received a voicemail from the campground host informing me that the owner was asking us to leave. WTHeck? We, along with our friends, immediately packed up and left. Most campgrounds have quiet hours from 10 - 8 here it is apparently 24/7.
I guess anyone who bans sidewalk chalk and asks that you don’t allow your children to bother other guests is definitely wound a little tight.
If you’re for a retirement campground and not family oriented this is your spot. We’ll never be back again.

Response from alison rast, Owner at Up the Creek RV Camp
Responded Nov 2, 2021
We are glad you have enjoyed staying with us for the past five years. Contrary to your review, multiple noise complaints were received by our staff from several different campers after dark, and some during our quiet hours. On one of these instances, you had invited over 30 people from outside the RV Camp for a "reception" on one of our campsites. We have a 6-person maximum per campsite. We asked you to keep down the noise once, twice and the third time we asked you to leave. If you are affecting the enjoyment of other campers, then we have to act on that on behalf of the other families staying with us. Several thanked us for taking care of the problem.

This RV camp is not too far outside of Sevierville, where there is plenty of attractions to see. The camp does not have a store but there is one about 1 mile away from the camp.
There are two bubbly creeks that surround the grounds, which is shaped sort of like a horseshoe. The campsites are fairly well spaced apart and all have utility hookups and a fire pit.
This is a nice campsite that's far enough away from the busy attractions but close enough to check things out. There is a trolley device that runs through the camp regularly to get into Sevierville and back, as well.

Quiet tucked away location., but about 3 miles from the action. We stayed here for 2 nights. Used Uber to get around. Our longest wait was 35 minutes for pick up. ( not bad for only 4-5 cars locally )
There is a trolley for $1.00 that takes you to town.
Loved the privacy between sites with mature trees.
Dog friendly with a small dog run.
During our stay there we’re many dogs here, but all well behaved and quiet .
We would definitely stay here again.

This is our second straight year staying at the campground with our friends at the campsite beside us. It never fails to please. The sites are spacious and many back up to a creek. The landscaping is beautiful and the place is always clean as a pin. The trolley runs through the campground making it convenient if you want to leave the driving to someone else. We have stayed in a few other campgrounds in out 35’ 5th wheel but this one is the best by far.

This is, by far, one of the most beautiful rv parks I have stayed in. If you don’t have a car in tow, have no fear, the bus comes in the park on a hourly basis to take you to pidgeon Forge or Gatlinburg!!!!!
The caretakers have a side by side atv that comes around every hour or so to pick up garbage that you leave at the curb!
You have an extra large plot that is a concreted pad to park on plus one to be a porch. Picnic tables, fire pits are on each site free!
Mature trees are there for shade and privacy! The cost is very reasonable and they have several options including back in sites, pull through sites and larger sites. The RV park is just minutes from the center of Pidgeon Forge! If you have Bicycles you are in luck as a short ride will let you explore the surroundings and see the shops and restaurants!

This campground is AMAZING! What a peaceful and beautiful retreat. It is meticulously landscaped and the campsites are large and private. The location is not too far from Pigeon Forge and there are a few restaurants and grocery stores close by. The trolley comes through every hour on the half hour and I think the latest trolley came through at 11:30pm. One of my favorite campgrounds in the US!

I’ve had to call and leave a message. They have been pretty good about returning calls.
WiFi was ok, we have Verizon and cell reception was good.
Thank you for your inquiry. We only offer nightly rates.
I saw lot's of dogs. I would call the office and talk to them as they are very nice and helpful on everything.
