Very expensive for a disappointing experience, our tent was difficult to access,it was not very clean. The gathering tent was very noisy , because it was raining and families gathered there. The food is good but slow to arrive on the table. The staff is helpful and nice.

Hotel's Favorite
Really beautiful, comfortable tents, amazing kitchen/food options, and some of the friendliest, nicest staff I've ever seen anywhere. The only downsides were: 1) it got pretty cold overnight (granted we stayed there in late November, at the end of their season) and 2) honestly, the cost, which seemed a bit high compared to hotels in the area, in terms of the comfort level/elements you're still living in.

Great experience! Beautiful secluded location, friendly staff, tasty food, good for families or couples, dog friendly. Tents are very comfortable! It was cold at night, but the wood burning stove kept us warm (and the bedding was very cozy)! This is our 2nd Under Canvas experience; now we want to do all of them!

Our 4th Under Canvas experience. Our 55th anniversary. . All are equally fabulous. And each one different in its own way due to location. Headed to Yellowstone and Acadia Under Canvas in 2023. Food was very good but a little pricey. Staff was friendly and always ready to assist.

This was my first glamping trip and it exceeded my expectations. The tents are comfortable, the scenery spectacular, but the service and the food are what put this trip over the top. The staff was amazing. There are always activities in the evenings (bingo, trivia, yoga, live music) or you can just relax next to a fire pit. You can tell they really put a premium on excellent service. The meals were really amazing. Great set menu with breakfast and dinner specials. Surprisingly affordable as well for the accommodations. Bring your own alcohol if you plan on having drinks there though. The drinks are expensive. Be sure to bring a headlamp or a good flashlight as you will be walking around in fairly dark conditions at times. Also important, if you want to bring food or snacks, they have to be locked in your car. No food in the tents. There is wildlife around after all. …

Amazing place in the Smokey Mountains. Every detail was perfect. The most comfortable beds ever - wish I could have brought it home with me. There were 3 couples in our group and everyone thought the same thing. Staff was so extremely helpful, friendly and the food was amazing. Farm to table fresh! I do not enjoy camping but this was a wonderful adventure and I look forward to staying at Under Canvas many times over.

Exceeded expectations in every way. Food incredible, staff was amazing!! Strongly recommend for all ages and activity levels. Bear in mind that you have to have at least sufficient knowledge to start and maintain a fire at night for your heat depending on time of year.

We had a three night stay at Under Canvas Smoky Mountains and had an amazing experience! The staff is incredible friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There are so many activities for kids on the property....my kids quickly made friends with other kids and looked forward to the organized activity each evening. The beds are SO comfortable and the food was incredible...I bet the best food within miles. We will be backl!

We loved it! Our tent was up in the woods on the outskirts of the camp. It felt like we were sleeping in a tree house. Extremely comfortable bed with warm blankets: even when the night temp dipped into the 40s, we were quite comfortable. The staff was wonderful. We could tell that they like working there. We loved the food and fireside conversations with fellow "glampers" (glamorous camping). The highlight of the stay was the stars! Clear Milky Way and a huge shooting star! We try our best to be environmentally conscientious at home, and it was great to know that luxurious accommodations such as these exist and are bringing people right into nature with less carbon footprint.

We can't wait to get back. We have already recommended this to friends. We had such a good time we extended our stay by a day. This was the perfect place to get away from the hectic pace of everyday life. Accommodations, activities, and food were all excellent. The staff was wonderful - available, responsive, and very friendly.
