My husband and I were very impressed with Margaritaville Island Inn. The Inn staff was very nice when arriving for check in and very helpful our entire stay. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Maid service was very good and the bathroom was very well stocked with large fresh white bath towels. The Margaritaville Inn has that island feel, the color schemes in the lobby, hallway and rooms are very well selected with that modern feel. The continental breakfast was delicious and there was a good selection each morning of breakfast foods. There was always coffee and water near the continental breakfast area even in the afternoons. There were also fresh baked chocolate chip cookies which were delicious and free to those who stay at the Inn. Upon entering the Inn there’s a light fragrance throughout of piña colada/coconut and Jimmy Buffet videos and more great music playing on the big TV screens In the lobby areas. You can walk directly to the island and many other places surrounding. I definitely recommend staying at Margaritaville Inn and plan to stay here again.

Highly recommend the Inn at the Island in Pigeon Forge. The Inn is so fun with bright large rooms. The indoor and outdoor pool areas are very clean with adequate seating. The breakfast that is included with the room price was very good with all safety guidelines closely followed - food served by gloved and aproned staff with ample unique seating that was definitely socially distanced.

My husband and I recently spent a vacation in Tennessee. This hotel is in a great location. It is right next to "The Isand." There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. There is even a walking trail not too far from this hotel. It is located right on the main road that goes through Pigeon Forge. The hotel is not very big, but it is nice and kept clean. Our room and bathroom were big enough and had what we needed. The staff were all very nice. We saw the same housekeeper every day during our stay. Her name is either Laura or Stacy. Both of them were very nice. They always said "hi" and had a smile on their faces. We were a little surprised, though, that none of the housekeepers wore masks while cleaning. The breakfast was not that great. It was the same thing every morning....fake eggs, sausage, bacon, greasy potatoes, coffee, and juice. It wasn't that good. We ended up eating at the restaurant across the street every morning (which was good). I know that part of the problem is Covid. Maybe if it wasn't for that, there would have been a better breakfast?????

Stephanie A, thank you for staying with us, we are happy you had great stay. Laura and Stacy does a great job and we appreciate them for all the hard work they do. We do have a dynamic location that is in the center of all the major dining and activities and we are happy you took advantage of that. We are very happy you enjoyed your room. Its very unfortunate that you did not enjoy our breakfast and had to eat off property, your feedback however is valuable to us and we will use it to improve where applicable. Thank you for your review and we hope you will visit us again soon.

Stayed at the Island Inn Thursday night 5/21. Was in room 613
Upon turning sheets back noticed something dark on sheets at top of bed. Upon closer looking it was not on sheet but under sheets on mattress cover. Lots of black hair. Really bad. I attached photos. Housekeeping had to have seen this when putting in fresh sheets if I could see them thru sheets. This is particularly bad having read a letter in the room about it being completely cleaned and sanitized due to COVID 19. And all the messages around the resort about cleaning that was being done. I have stayed here several times in past and will probably be returning, but this really disappointed me

The lobby and staff are very welcoming. The room on the other hand was very disappointing. Our first room was very dirty. Comforter too had stains, bathroom had hairs in every location possible, mirrors were dirty, walls were dirty, and anything else was dirty. We asked to be moved (really wanted to just go) and we were moved to a room that was just cleaned again. That night got in the shower and the water didn’t get warm. Too late to complain so took cold showers. Next day told about the shower. They came and he told us we just had to move the handle slowly. Again, next shower didn’t work. All we got were we are sorry. Would I stay again? No! Staff is nice but hotel is Just then covering up the old.

This was a family trip (2 adults, 2 children). The room was not ready or even close to being cleaned and ready at 4pm (check in time), but we were sent up with our key to the room. Went back downstairs to wait.

When we arrived, there was an old smell and my wife had to clean the room with what we brought. It was not vacuumed well either. All of the lights didn’t work either (one would think this would be checked before check in) At first we thought about leaving, but there wasnt many choices in the area-especially with an EV charger. We thought, this is the first impression they gave us?

During our stay, we had a hard time getting the room to be cleaned. We were awoken at 8am on one morning to housekeeping and told them to come back but they never did. We assumed the room would be cleaned every day when we left, but by the time we got back after a long day the last thing we wanted to do was leave the room so it could be properly cleaned. It was “cleaned” only twice during our week stay but that consisted of re-making the bed (not changing sheets) and throwing new towels and toiletries on the counters. We stayed in a suite and think that was largely part yo why it wasn’t cleaned as it would take a while.

The pool was way too small for a hotel this size. Almost always didn’t have any swim room to get in. For being margaritaville, we were shocked to see no drinks were allowed, even in the outside pool-especially after seeing the other margaritaville across the island with a bar at the pool. It was rare to find pool towels available and we were not the only ones as it was clear from all the pool water tracked into the elevators.

Another huge disappointment was there was no electric vehicle charger that worked even though I called both hotels before I booked and a few days before we came down. Either fix them or don’t tell guests you have them. Because of this, we spent a good amount of time looking and waiting for chargers.

I cannot and won’t be back to this hotel. The one bright side I guess was the staff at the desk was nice, when they were not constantly looking and playing on their phones. This was an expensive stay and do not feel at all like I got my money worth. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

We also had an instance of the key not working for our room. Turned out it was the battery in the door lock. The folks at the front desk and maintenance guy was very quick to address this and another bright spot for the hotel.

I am hugely disappointed that a brand such as margaritaville has this type of hotel as it clearly doesn’t fit or deliver. We paid a good amount of money to stay in one of the “best” rooms on the property and wouldn’t have thought to have so many issues. I can’t help but feel I got ripped off and would make me feel like all the margaritaville hotels are like this.

Adavidson2004, Thank you for staying with us, we are very sorry to hear that your stay was not up to par and happy you were able to share your experience so we can make changes where applicable. Our check-in time is at 4:00pm and I realize you were checked in within that time period and not after. We will surely investigate and address the issues you encountered with the cleanliness of your room and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Our stay-over service starts at 8am and we try our best in getting it done everyday as 95% of our competitors do not offer that service anymore due to COVID. There are over 20 EV locations in Sevier County. We are not able to speak on the Margaritaville Island Hotel behalf as we are not affiliated with them and we do not advertise having an EV charger or market where they are located. We are a family oriented property, so mostly families with children vacation here , so for the safety of our guest we do not allow alcoholic beverages or food inside in the pool. Please contact us at the Inn directly to discuss your stay with us further at 865-453-5590. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused as your experience is not the typical standard we offer.

Our stay was wonderful, the hotel was extremely clean, and the staff was friendly, they made us feel welcome, they also made sure everyone was wearing a mask, and had safety measures to make sure that you were not near a lot of people. The room was amazing, also the beds felt like you were sleeping on big pillows. I loved everything about it. I would recommend this place to everyone, and will be staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn and were happy that we chose to stay there over the Margaritaville hotel. We had a 2 bedroom suite-one bedroom had a king sized bed and the other bedroom had 2 queen sized beds. We had 2 full bathrooms, a mini fridge, and a microwave in the room so it was nice for the whole family to be in one room. The nicest parts of the inn are the indoor heated pool and the breakfast that is included. It is also nicely situated to the island attractions. The hotel was clean and staff wore masks with many signs posted to inform guests that masks are required, but most of the other guests were not wearing masks or following the rule of 1 family at a time in the elevators. None of the staff seemed to care to enforce the mask rule and I don't know if this is a southern thing or a hotel thing, but coming from Maryland it was shocking to see people not wearing masks. We would return in a post-COVID time.

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay! The staff were all very polite and helpful. The breakfast was tasty, hot and generous and I really liked the buffet bar wasn’t open to all hands; the staff fixed your plate, eliminating extra germ sharing. My children loved the island was so close they could bounce back and forth from Inn to island without extra driving. We considered staying at the Hotel, but after researching we definitely made the right call with the INN. We enjoyed our trip here so much we added on two additional days!
Our children are already requesting to come back next year so we will absolutely be staying at the INN again.

We wanted to get our trip started a day early and our other hotel wasn’t vacant the night before our stay, so we chose this one. Assuming by the high cost (almost $500 for one night!) and the Margaritaville name, it would be great. It was not. I will say, the lobby was nice and like you were at the beach. But the nice young man at check in was speaking to someone else who then stood there the entire time I gave my name and he told me my room number and all, which seemed a bit unsafe. He was behind a barrier for safety against covid, so that was peace of mind.
Once we got to our $500 room, it was clammy, tiny, and there was no balcony, which we were supposed to have according to our reservation. We were tired, so didn’t complain. It was a King room with sofa bed, so we slept with our 3yo and our 9 and 7 yr old would take the sofa bed. Except the sofa bed was a TWIN! They were okay, but never in all hotel stays have I seen a sofa bed as only a twin. There were no sheets, no pillows for the sofa bed and we had to call for sheets. No housekeeping staff on duty after a certain time, so we had to go to the front desk to get more pillows.
We didn’t get to use the outdoor pool due to time constraints, but it was tiny! I want to say the high price of the rooms at this hotel are because it is walking distance to The Island, which has shops, Ferris wheel, game room, etc. Beware, it is VERY crowded! My husband and I are vaccinated, (but our daughter has asthma) so we wore masks for safety and were some of the only people with masks on! :( all in all, the price of this hotel is not worth it. We were glad to check out the next day and go to Margaritaville Resort, Gatlinburg!
