Detailed Reviews
We had intended to camp in Smoky Mountains National Park, but the RV campground didn’t have any power or water, which we weren’t prepared for. We went into Pigeon Forge and made some calls to local RV parks. Foothills RV Park had a reasonable price and was well located at the south end of town just a couple of miles from the entrance to the park. To our surprise, this park is gorgeous! Although seen from the highway, the camp sites are up on a hill, nested in beautiful trees. The sites are spacious and the grounds are beautiful. It’s quiet and peaceful. Restrooms, laundry rooms and pool are spotless. The owner was so helpful and sweet. We loved it and hope you will give them a try. Just a perfect place for a quiet get away or to stay awhile. I wish we had more time here.

This is part of the very touristy Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gaitlanburg, Smokey Mounts area. Felt sorta like the Disneyland of the South. BTW, if driving from P.Forge to the Great Smokey's BE SURE to use the G-burg bypass road just past the first official Park visitors' center. Can save you 30-90 minutes getting into the Park.
Okay, on to Foothills. This is a very small park, about 30 spaces, and they are tight. We have a 26' class C and had no concerns, but the entry is up a steep hill with limited visibility. and there are tight turns navigating to many spots. I could not imagine staying here in a class A, but people do...
Very nice and helpful front desk staff
Approach from P.Forge most safely, requires passing the park and driving 1/8 mile to a turnaround. Approach from G.Smokey's is a snap!

My Boyfriend called to make a reservation and was asking about cabins and what was available. The older lady that answered was somewhat rude on the call. He simply wanted to know what was available and she said he couldn't pick a cabin because he was not a regular customer, and he wasn't going to come in on her and just pick whatever. He said how can you be a regular customer if you've never stayed or have the opportunity to check the cabins out. Customer service was just unprofessional. We will not be staying here and will continue to stay at the campground at the bottom of the hill at Riveredge Campground.

Our first camping weekend of the 2020 season and Foothills RV did not disappoint. It was still the cleanest, friendliest, safest, and most well-maintained campground in the area. The pool, facilities, and campsites were awesome. We can't wait to head back again.

My husband and I stayed here in 2022 and decided to return again this year. The prices are very reasonable and the location is great. We will keep them in mind for future trips.
Pros- Staff is very helpful. My husband kept losing a toy on the roof of the bath house and they got it down for him 3 times.
Bath house is very clean. Cabins are very clean.
Staff is helpful if you are arriving after office closes.
Cons- Not open year round which means we have to find other accommodations for our Christmas trip.
Dim lighting in cabin.
No microwaves in camping cabins.

We recently decided to stay at this RV park due to our usual campground having a huge jump in price. The camping cabin was larger than our previous place. However, it did not have a microwave or pillows. We could not get our sheets to stay on the bed either.
Positives- very clean bathhouse. Very reasonable prices, quiet and nice area. They were helpful about us arriving after the office closed. We would stay again.

Very nice, great location and the cabins are the hidden gem. Camping cabins to 2 bedroom cabins are hard to find this close to all activities yet has a woodsy feel. Owners are super nice and staff truly care

What a sweet little RV park! It was super clean, quiet and had nice bathrooms, laundry facilities and a pool. The concrete pads were in great condition and the area had plenty of shade. It was centrally located. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a very nice small RV Park. We were able to make reservations on the phone a few days before our trip. Being a last minute trip we didnt think we would be able to get a reservation. The front desk was very helpful and ensured the reservation was taken care of. Check in was very easy upon arrival. The RV spots are a little close but still enough space for privacy. The bathhouse was very clean and maintained very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be making plans to stay here again.

Yes. it is on your right, before the 1st traffic light (as you 're arriving from Gatlinburg). The campground is up a hill behind the camp store. There is another campground nearby- Riveredge (on your right as you enter Pigeon Forge).
$42.00 a night full hook ups , super clean bath house !! We only stay here when camping !
