Do not stay here!! I checked in and immediately left. Stains on sheets, pillows were disgusting and one pillow had the foam falling out of it!! Putting a pillow case on that pillow shows the hotel doesn’t care!! Have been trying to get a refund but they refuse.
My family and I had to cancel our Spring Break plans due to COVID-19. The hotel won’t refund our money because we didn’t cancel within 72 hours of arrival and that’s their policy! We have no control over a State of National Emergency! We would have loved to go on our vacation if we could have. Every place we were going to refunded our money with no problems except Hotel Pigeon Forge. When we eventually are able to travel to Dollywood and other attractions in the area, we won’t be staying at this horrible establishment! We were going for the entire week so we lost all that hard earned money. The man and woman I spoke to at the front desk on different occasions were awful and completely uncaring...”it’s our policy that you must cancel within 72 hours of arrival.” Do NOT recommended!…
My wife reserved a room for our Anniversary for the 12/13/19 thru 12/15/29 without reading their reviews first. When we arrived and got our room, we immediately started calling to find somewhere else to stay. The bed had some kind of hair all over it and it looked like someone had spit tobacco on the floor beside the bed. The carpet was all torn up and the jetted tub and bathtub was filthy. We checked out and left 5 minutes after arriving. My wife was told that we would not be receiving a refund because she had reserved the room thru a third party company. After reading their reviews, we're not the only ones that this has happened to and it needs to stop. This Hotel Pigeon Forge is a disgrace to the city of Pigeon Forge. If this is the only place in Tennessee to stay, go somewhere else or sleep in your car. I have contacted the BBB, The City of Pigeon Forge and sent emails to the motel trying to get our money back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL, FAR AWAY …
My review is kind because I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. The price was cheap, and you get what you pay for. The room was pretty clean. However, our check in was at 4:00. We arrived at the hotel at 6:30 and our room was not ready. The only reason I am not giving a bad review is because I over heard the manager on the phone with who I am assuming is an employee. He was calling them in because he said all of his afternoon maids had called out. The other front desk worker was upstairs helping clean rooms, and they were very apologetic. I know the maids calling out is not a reflection on the hotel so I am not blaming them. I would say this hotel is good for the price.
We booked this place last minute but it ended up being the best bang for our buck absolutely gorgeous motel. Even kept us t under $400 total for five nights!! The view was even better. Definitely check out hotel Pigeon Forge on your next trip to Tennessee it was not close to everything as well right down from Hatfield and McCoys The comedy Barn all the attractions we were within a mile and multiple distilleries we visited that we're close by as well definitely awesome location nice place loved it loved it loved it!
